Jessica Walters death was handled so touchingly in the show with her being reunited with Ron Cadillac which was voiced by her real life husband who passed on.
I didn’t know that. That makes this scene so much… it is beautiful

Malory Archer's final note just hits differently knowing that it is a tribute to Jessica Walter. The show really handled her passing well. It brings me to tears every time I watch this scene.

Hearing the quiver in Jon's voice as he finishes the letter is what sold the scene so perfectly to me.

its tragic that Jessica Walter, the voice behind Malory archer died when she did, but we must remind ourselves that death is a natural part of life, the important thing is to remember those close to us we lost. we honour Jessica Walter through her many performances no matter how big or small they are.

2:56 I love this scene where they make it appear that its Archer's funeral, but then reveal its Woodhouse's. Also, nice touch with the date of death, because the biggest running gag is we don't know the year the show is set in.

@@gamerlordthebestmade worse when you realize that everyone she’s ever been with on the show has cheated on her. I just feel so bad for her, even though she’s fictional, you can’t help what goes through someone’s mine after that. After being cheated on for the third time in a row, that’s so traumatic in the most heartbreaking way.

Archer willingly scarified himself for Lana while she was pregnant with AJ and with what may very well may be his last breath confesses his love for her.
How does Lana repay him?
By keeping Archer so far away from her that she doesn’t even realize he’s her real father.
Actually Lana stealing Archer's sperm in the first place. Technically, Lana prey on Archer's emotional vulnerability while she's pregnant with his daughter AJ. She made him being father against his own free will. She use his kid to get what she wants. Besides, Lana always take Archer for granted the most. She didn't appreciate everything what Archer did for whole world, her and their daughter AJ.

@@TheIronMarshall Because while they are all clearly terrible people, the way Lana uses their kid to hurt Archer is a different class of monster. Particularly when you know she believes herself to be a better person than the people she hurts.

All these but especially the moment when Archer was talking to Katya about Lana, and how he felt about her and their daughter.
Sure Lana probably didn’t deserve half of what he said but it’s a beautiful scene nonetheless. And Lana will never know that it happened which is just bittersweet karma.

That relationship is all sorts of messed up and complicated.
Archer complicates it on his own, but Lana seriously flawed also. Not overly trust worthy and someone having trust issues is rough, add in the job they are in, and a child to care for makes it far more so
Just the couple seconds where Cyril dejectedly looks downward as everyone laughs at his childhood trauma was funnier than 99.9% of every other sitcom on tv.
My favorite comedy is Community, I think Arrested Development (particularly seasons 1-3) is the most brilliant comedy ever, but Archer was the funniest.
I really hope the open endedness of the finale means we will get an Archer movie. Or a spin off show with Pam and Archer. Lets have Cyril and Cheryl there too, oh yeah... Lana, gotta have Lana. And of Course Krieger... Can't imagine doing it without him... Come to think of it, how about just keep making Archer forever?

I kind of wonder if the reading of Mallory's note was done as a first take. The emotion is so raw that it would be hard to portray if you knew what was coming. Unlike a lot of animated shows they would sometimes record together to get the energy of the scene right and they all got along fairly well.

This is why I didn't like how everyone treated Archer at in the final seasons. Archer may be a jerk but he has sacrificed himself over and over again for his friends.

They take Archer for granted several times. They always being sanctimonious hypocrite all times in their lives. They always use Archer as excuse for themselves whole entire time. Archer always saves their butt again and again. He always takes risk for the world. He always take risk for his surrogate son Seamus and his biological daughter AJ the most.

While the last one is heartbreaking, I found myself saddened and extremely angry by the group saying that they were better off when Archer was in a coma. They honestly were complete bastards that season. Especially Lana who decided to cheat on him and ended up marrying someone else while he was in the coma.
Cheat on him? They weren't together when he was shot. And wasn't he in a coma for like 2 or 3 years?
Archer and Lana were on break! Lana is the one who wants take a break relationship. It's her idea. Not Archer.
@@nikkoe2694 Archer and Lana were on a break. Archer being in coma for three years after he got shot and take risk to save everybody and clear Lana's name while Lana was framed by Veronica Deane.
I wish they would have ended the show on Mallory's farewell. I tried watching season 13 without her and it's just not good. I'm sure it was tied into contract obligations, but I'm glad they're not renewing it any further after 14.
