Filipino nurses give love to their patients and dedication to their work. This sets them apart from other nurses in other countries. I'm proud of you all!

They are all over here in New York City every hospital ive been to in the Bronx and Manhattan a Filipino nurse is taking care of me being half Filipino and Puerto Rican.
Inculcated early in life, and fully embedded in the innate culture of Filipino nurses, the natural traits of genuine caring, dedication to hard work, professionalism and going the extra mile(sacrificing personal comfort, homesickness, etc.), especially during critical times like the global pandemic and extreme emergencies, are truly beyond compare.
My sister, several aunts, so many classmates and schoolmates and friends. There's just too many immigrant healthcare workers in my social circle. I'm sure many Filipinos can relate. I myself work in a hospital, doing biomedical research but chose to stay in the Philippines. It's a thankless job - healthcare work that is.
phippines educ system in general is patterned with the american edu system. textbooks in english, american authors, english medium in school etc. in the 70s many filipino medical professionals went USA.
We are legal immigrants! We went through legal papers and waited years properly, went to correct process, paid the forms, into coming in US. We flew properly and not through borders. ✌️

@rearSouthTOWER illegal immigrants are illegal for a reason they are a drain on the public services and worse case some of them are criminals running away from their country. Immigration is a good thing but a controlled Immigration is a must to select who needs to come in and prevent future issues.
That's why many of these noble Filipino nurses and caregivers are being exploited and taken advantage of their kindness at work. They work under so much pressure and tiring long duty with fewer time breaks.
While Filipinos are lifted up as great workers and health providers but unfortunately Filipinos are not really respected and treated equally in the west.
Thank goodness AI will make sure Filipinos don’t have to be pigeonholed in this cliche. Semi-Pinay here & yes my mom was a nurse. Also 10% of webineers are Filipino.
Most of this nurses back home are trained as doctors. So they have advancement in nursing even their role in united states health care system is downgraded.
It should be "Heroism", not "heroics". This is how ChatGPT describes the difference between the two: The terms "heroics" and "heroism" are related but differ in nuance and usage: Heroism Definition: Refers to the quality or state of being a hero; it describes courageous behavior, noble actions, or self-sacrifice in the face of danger or adversity. Usage: Often used to highlight the moral and admirable qualities of someone’s brave actions. It tends to have a serious and respectful tone. Example: "Her heroism in rescuing the children from the burning building was widely recognized." Heroics Definition: Refers to actions that are bold or dramatic, often implying a theatrical or exaggerated quality. It can sometimes be used ironically or to describe feats that might lack genuine necessity or impact. Usage: Can carry a lighter or even critical tone compared to "heroism." It is sometimes used to refer to showy acts of bravery that might not have significant importance. Example: "He performed daring heroics to impress the crowd, but they were unnecessary." Key Differences Tone: Heroism is inherently noble and serious. Heroics can be neutral, positive, or even slightly mocking, depending on context. Focus: Heroism emphasizes the ethical or moral value of the act. Heroics focuses on the dramatic nature of the act. Summary While both terms describe brave or bold actions, "heroism" is reserved for genuine, praiseworthy courage, whereas "heroics" can sometimes imply showmanship or unnecessary risk. Context will determine the intended meaning. You people need an editor.

Filipino Nurses really care for patients.
Filipinos by nature are caring and nurturing. It’s imbedded in our culture that sense of community.

How many tv series about medical stories, not even one Filipino nurses are recognized.

That's not entirely true. Most Filipino nurses on who came in on work visas earned their BSN back home, not MDs.
