Popular opinion: you're supposed to be on Mulaney's side because Pete is being needy and overbearing. They're acting, show-Pete is begging to show-Mulaney for the scene to work. They're great friends in real life haha
@@BruceNJeffAreMyFlies It’s because the other post had to specify Show Pete and Mulaney, as if yhe original commenter had no idea this wasn’t real. Read the reply again, he didn’t rebuke being correct, what he did was rebuke the insinuation that he thought it wasn’t real.
John Mulaney actually seemed like he was being as polite as he could in the situation until the "Your dad sounds like an idiot remark." It initially does kind of paint an interesting situation of "who's REALLY the asshole?"
Why am I getting really strong Sebastian Smythe from Glee vibes!? The way Grant Gustin (The Flash) portrays Sebastian is similar to how John Mulaney portrays the asshole version of himself, but Gustin's asshole is on steroids in comparison. Both great performances! Yes I know that John sometimes gets mistaken for the Flash, but here the resemblance in the characters is almost a little spooky.
I know that comedians are not their on stage personas but if I ever met a comedian that i liked and they were super arrogant and rude, my heart would break. I wonder if this is based on a real experience that somone had.
@@samhugh08 Jesus i definitely will never do that. I met a famous (at least where i live) author that writes kids/young adult fiction series at a bar once and basically cornered him in the smoking area telling him how much i loved his books as a kid and stared at him awkwardly until he eventually (and awkwardly) asked if i wanted a picture. If you are a fan of him you KNOW he was really acting here because this doesn't feel like him at ALLl. It was SO strange to see this version of evil John
Evil John is terrifying
When you realize this isn’t evil John, it’s just John.
It’s the Real John
I like his soft voice
Miss Fox I like your soft face!
'oh so you didn't here what i just said' the delivery of that line was perfect
I agree 😆
John Mulaney with Jerry Seinfeld-level arrogance. *shudders*
kalebpost20 HOT
He should've played into that for his sitcom.
@@lundylow Well then it would literally have been "Seinfeld".
@@popeye697 it already was
He's playing an asshole version of John mulaney. Jerry Seinfeld is actually an asshole
"And who are you in all this?"
strangely.. i have never been more attracted to john mulaney than right now
Than yooouuu...are attracted to toxic men.
i can never agree more
me too.... we need therapy 😅
but his hair looks so stupid
@@christianwaterloo689 grrr
john is so good looking
it’s terrifying how john isn’t the tallest person in the room
I was shocked that he's only 183 and doesn't look to tall with Nick Kroll. For some reason I thought he'd be like Conan tall
He is 6 feet tall.
the fact that i know how close they are irl makes this better for me lmao
Jesus the conversation beforehand makes the set hit so different
"I didn't hit him with an SUV". Great stuff.
😅😆👌🏼
MEAN JOHN MULANEY IS SO HOT STOP RN
You know you're a real Mulaney fan if you knew the EXACT set he was going into
Know the set? I was saying it with him.
Yeah......... Yeah, it's true
Trudat
0:10 why his eyes so sparkly for 😭
"You don't have to apologize I fully know it's him" Haha
John is a tall man child
But wow he looks so small right here
at least he taller than the boy!
i love his voice
