I like how John doesn’t even look directly at Chris Gethard and still comments on what he’s wearing
He really said "is that chris gethard"
John is so menacing n this, it’s great
So good that I thought he is a dick in real life.
About as menacing as a kitten u loser
“I know, but people don’t know that.” His low voice is so bizarrely different from his stage voice. Love that
The casting in great. This guy looks almost exactly like Pete. And that tall child is playing John perfectly!
why is Pete Holmes being so mean to that tall child
He doesn’t like high waisted people
John is not a tall child. He's a strong, Asian-American woman. He's a tiger mom!
It’s a sin that this show was canceled. Broke my heart when I found out
I loved this show man. It was good while it lasted. And a good ending too
@@anantsharma7955 I just binged it this weekend and it seems like it could've gone longer, but it still stands as a great story as is
Yeah, but man I love the way that third season ended!
It wasn't cancelled. It ended.
Who are you, Larry King?
man I miss crashing
I didn't know it was canceled until I read this. Now I'm sad.
Not cancelled. Pete Holmes wanted 3 seasons and that's what he did
@@andrewkling9530 Did he? I read somewhere HBO didn't renew it fourth season due to dip in ratings. And Holmes has suggested that there would be a film adaptation for proper ending to the series.
You're [not] bad is the smallest form of a compliment, these characters were just written so perfectly
I love this show!! I dated a stand up comedian and this show was so accurate in every aspect about what they go through! I've been to every comedy venue and bar around West 4th numerous times and I've seen almost all the comedians on the show perform or in person just hanging out in the area. So grateful that I got a chance to see this side of the biz first hand. I adore Pete Holmes. This moment in the show really tugged at my heart. Go Pete!
Jesus Christ it's like the end of whiplash but for comics
nice
This was such a great moment on that show! It felt like a big triumph, and it all happened by accident, and that accident became the focal point of his whole slot, and it was brilliant!
1:22 I don’t know why, but this shot makes me so scared of John.
He's weirdly scary in this show in general but especially this part, it's almost like he's going to murder Pete for outing him as a dick but then in the end he's like "hey man good set about what a dick I am"
@@karicherrycola Yep, man I’d love to see him as a villain in a movie
He has murder in his eyes but he's still well dressed and put together and the combination is scary
Oh I love this bit of Pete. It was truly amazing. And John acts so well
Please post the Dickinson episode where John plays Thoreau
I loved all 3 seasons
Ray Kon right, wish it was still going
Bizzaro world/sociopath john mulaney freaks me out.
Turns out, he wasn't acting.
I know it was bittersweet to find out this was the last episode. But I feel it landed on a pretty great ending. It came all the way around from him bombing at the club in the first episode to finally getting passed. He wasn’t going to need to crash on any couches again.
This is the moment where I decided to be a standup. Thanks john and pete for giving me the push i needed to get off my lazy ass and pursue my dream!
Hey! Good Luck Bro, the world needs more people making us laugh
How's your journey going?
How's it going?
john is such a pretty man :)
John is low key really scary in this. I didn't know he had this range. He really plays a convincing Hollywood Dickhead
I also wanted to see the next part where the comics show him respect but this was still awesome
This show gets you so amped up for Pete to succeed, this moment is a huge payoff. Great show!
I don't know why but this is a bit more satisfying than finale battle of super hero shows.
Love that Greer checks the floor when he enters to meet his mark
Loved this show. Really wish it would come back
Having seen his chops on The Pete Holmes Show, it's really weird to see him unsure of himself onstage.
I just barely got hip to Crashing and binged it in two days. I'm sad that this was the last episode but it was so good.
wait this is the last episode. i heard about it decided to search up a clip and this was the first option
“you are a dick”
“i know but people don’t know that”
This bit from that episode was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on television.😅❤
This was such s good show. Wish there
were more seasons, ending feels like rushed.
1:51 Tiny background joke, John makes fun of how Chris is dressed but never made eye contact with him.
Such a great show that ended so horrible and abruptly. The end felt so crammed and forced. I suppose some closure is better than no closure. Some shows end in between seasons on a cliffhanger and that didn't happen here, so I guess I should be a little grateful.
Okay I can see that point. As a finale I like this episode a lot but yeah crammed to get there
john!
Such a great show
I hope somehow season 4 happens
Well it's been cancelled
This show was great and I was sad when it ended, but I listen to his podcast and I feel like we're friends. Parasocial relationships are weiiird.
Holy shit I can't believe they got Hugh Jackman to play this!
“Don’t believe the persona”
Johns a gag, Pete is a gag also but at least he's funny
This didnt age well
I hate Pete Holmes
They can’t even make him funny on his own show. Good lord
Pete Holmes is one of the best.
1:39 Johns face!!!
