Great Video!! My Buddy Lee Aerospeed is 2 years older than my 5 year old son!! I whip that thing full speed every time I use it. You buy it for $40 but I think it comes with backup bearings. A replacement cord is about $6. So far, I've gone through 3 replacement cords and I replaced the bearings last year because of rust. So about $60.00 over 7+ years!! And DO NOT CUT the cord right away!!! Just tie some knots in the rope close to the handle so you can get comfortable in finding the right length for you!!
The good thing about the rope is that you can also purchase replacements of pretty much any element on amazon for like 6$. I mean - sponge handles, rope itself and bearings (that illuminate any friction) are definitely online for cheap so even if two years later something breaks (or you cut it too short) you can go on Amazon and order some components again! Its a great rope I’ve been using it for about 4 months now and i finally got a hang of how light and fast it is comparing to 10$ walmart one that i had before! But still great review for the ones who considers buying it!
Greattt points!! It's really cool how you can "repair" your rope that way then, specially considering that the handles themselves will be good for a good couple of years!
Lana SK oh my god you’re cute. Anyways nice video dude. I’ve had multiple aero speeds since 2003. There’s no going back to a metal rope for me because You can even use the buddy lee ropes on shag carpet if you have to.
Hello fellow jumper! Nice review. Seems like all of Buddy Lee ropes are such a hassle to set up. I’ve been using the Crossrope system and they are ready to go right out of the box. Maybe one day I’ll meet someone with one of Buddy Lee’s ropes so I can try it out. Thank you and keep jumping!
Great channel. Your content is very helpful. I've been using a jump rope for conditioning since the beginning of the year. I will use your videos to learn the boxer step. Thanks Leon!
I don't consider too expensive, it's not that i will replace it every year. As you said, it's very durable, i have it for 5 years, maybe i didn't do as much as you did, but i really used it. Nothing else for me, besides Buddy Lee jump rope. Post more videos! Greets from Romania!
Thank you for your comment and support Tav! The buddy Lee jump rope is trully a very good jump rope when it comes to quality price. Thank you again from Montreal 😊
That's amazing.. I just got one of these , really struggling to screw the cord onto screws, can't get the screws deep enough. Cord seem to cover just little part of that screw. Or once it's tight no need to force it in harder?
Great review, very helpful! What is your opinion about Buddy Lee Master Rope? It seems to be a bit fragile. Which is better for using for general jump roping Aero or the Master's? Thanks
Do you use this rope indoors or exclusively outdoors? and does the rope make a lot of noise (the ball bearings I mean)? it's the only thing holding me back from buying this rope.
My only disagreement is that in my experience you start off long as a beginner, and gradually shorten your rope as you get more advanced over time. I’ve shortened my aero speed rope to the point I actually have to hold my hands a little lower than comfortable when jumping just to clear.
With fit test that is one foot, as shown the end of handle come to top of shoulder on my master rope on my aero soeed are cut shorter, I will buy new rope as I like longer.
Again Jumprs! Thank you for taking the time to invest in this knowledge. What rope would you like to see a review for next?
Master rope

Best review on this rope! thanks
Awesome video Leon, thanks for the upload. May I ask what track you have playing in the background? Sounds good for jumping rope.

Expensive but imma get it :o
Good investment!

My aero speed is also much shorter! It is fine for a speed rope to be shorter. The shorter the cable the faster 🔥🔥🔥🔥
