I used Varins Axe for 99% of the game. When I initially made the decision to use it, I didn't know if it was good or bad. It just seemed fitting to use the axe of the dead father to honor him

Bloodied synth is the most broken weapon in the game
I'm sad about the Blodwulf shield, I got it very early and I was hoping for something stronger

Best combo is spinning death as main with gae bolg as secondary, the lightning strikes after every three hits, which is very often
I used the spinning death and sarcophagus shield and it was crazy
Gae Bolg is even more insane if you mod the Mjulnir effect onto it. Crazy lightning!

I bought ac valhalla when it first csme out for my ps4 and only played it briefly bc a coworker gave me an xbox series x when they came. So in just now getting back to the game. And i forgot how great it was.
The Spear Gae Bolg is amazing its lighting effect is almost as good as Thors Hammer But the reach is insane thats why Gae Bolg my fav with Thors H as my seconday and Odins Spear would be #3
I used to run Gae Bolg with Mjulnir in the off hand, then I found out you can actually put Mjulnir's electric effect on Gae Bolg in the village. super op, lotsa lightning
thor hamer as main, and gale bog as second, not the fastest combination but it's a glory "stunning finished" to every enemy
That's my fav combo with the thor set aswell I beat the dawn of ragnarok with that entire set plus weapon combo lol
You can also put the thor hammer effect on Gale bog lol, it does both lighnings
I hate what they did with Excalibur. I get why, and it makes sense. But I wanted a more flashy traditional king sword.
Well, I would disagree, i kinda like the look, but it makes sense for you to not like it. It does look kinda out of place, like most other things in this game
Try the Mjölnir and the gae blog it creates havoc while wielding both of them
Such an under-rated combo.
You can also mod the Mjulnir effect onto Gae Bolg for 2 in 1
Varins axe and spear of Leonidas are goated in my opinion I run em and they are great
Nodens Arc deserved a mention “increase attack the further you are from your enemy” is overpowered at long range

Varins axe, plus housecarl axe make for stupid amounts of damage with the l1 combo.
The Arcstrider Spear is by far the best weapon, dual spears build just obliterates everything in this game

Excalibur is underwhelming for something named after promised victory and greatest holy sword.
Also the blind effect is garbage, remember unity? THAT Edensword had a good blind ability.
Y’all gotta try gungir and either leonidas spear or game bolg. Strongest boss couldn’t even attempt to hit me bc it kept getting reset with the light attacks and lightning from gae bolg
i'm a fan of the Carolingian sword. The Seax intrigues me. I want to find that flail. I used the Iron Star to beat Cudbertet very early in the game.
I haven’t found Excalibur useful. The enemies always manage to attack me, where I would say the perk doesn’t even work
Well, I like to use it for its stats, but to be honest, it’s probably the look that makes me want to use it lmao
I really worked hard to get excalibur early in the game, but very dissapointed after using it...

Nothing beats the dual spear wield for me though.
Any weapon is a good weapon with Kopis dagger in your left hand. You never loose any health.

I played this game in 2019. I didn't see half the stuff on here and I looked for every gold spot on the map. BTW, was there an end game? I never found it. Was there a person I was supposed to kill like Origins and Odyssey?
What axe can go great with Varin's axe?
The two problems i have with these weapons are 1 that they are not special. Theres plenty of weapons that out due them. 2 you only get the "most powerful" weapons when the game is almost over, theres no point in getting them if you dont get to use it on the big bosses.
All of the daggers are op is valhalla I never used them before until I was doin the niflheim quests to make godly artifacts being imagined into existence by a guy who doesn't know the language but he understands it some how and I feel this someone is a iswo also cause I feel like he would've been one of the dwarves that made mjolnir sifs hair and that gold boar
When I used to play this game a made a bow build so abusive it would 2 shot enemies 100 levels above me

IMO the most powerfull weapon is the Blazing Sword

finished the main story with spear of leonidas and laughs spear dual wield. This in my opinion were the most effective dual wield as far as power and speed concerns. Once I finished the main story I changed to gungnir and spear of leonidas dual wield and this is in my opinion are the most effective combo in the entire game. However my another favorite is the hells scythe and the balhrafn scythe dual wield. This is probably the most powerful combo in the game but not as fast as the dual spear. bought the hells scythe at oskoreia festival in ravensthorpe with festival token and bought the balhrafn scythe from vagn , the river raid guy with foreign materials. those scythes really look badass in mythical. My new favorites are the Kopis dagger in main hand and Verickas sickle in the left hand. These are not the most powerful weapon in the game by any means however the effectiveness of this dual wield is far better than anything I have used. Kopis generates some health everytime you kill an enemy. That means my health meter never goes down. And verickas sickle just burns everything down after the third kill. It also puts the weapon on the other hand on fire so you can basically burn an entire army with this combo without losing any health. This dual wield with mentors armor set is just too good.

Well, AC valhalla is kind of easy to be honest. And with OP weapons like these the game becomes boring.
Then up difficulty snd use weak weapons
@@DubbleOboyzyeah, that is what I am currently doing. But I also think that the devs should have balanced the game in which it is challenging yet rewarding, not me trying to balance it for them. Odyssey and Origin did it, why can't Valhalla. Because what they do to make it harder is that enemies absorb more damage, you do less (literally), they lower your health, and your parry window is lowered. These are all artificial difficulty, they could've capitalized in the combat and paries, made the enemies vary in attacks, made other weapons work better in certain scenarios, gave more tools to make a hard fight easier, made it so that the level up is not just a number but actually meaningful, but instead you just have to balance the game yourselves and hope for the best.
I got bored after 20 minutes and haven’t played it again. It would be a good game if it wasn’t assassins creed. All the climbing ruins it for me
I was hesitant to spend money on this game as I've heard it's very bloated, thankfully it's free on ps plus deluxe (India, we don't have premium)

It is I put 115hrs into it and dropped it on series x but I just beat origins on ps5 and it made me want to pick it up again since it’s free on extra luckily my save from Xbox popped up and I’ve been having fun with it again
I put 80 hours into it and strongly disliked it. Then I waited almost a year and carried on with the same save file, and suddenly I’m enjoying it. It’s a good game, as long as you have tempered expectations, which it seems you already do.

😂😂okay a few of these weapons are not what I was expecting for most powerful weapons in this game. That diced combo and the windmill of axe blows was just giving me nightmares of people beating me in a fighting game by relentlessly tapping “1” button
