You won't be disappointed, they are stunning little models, I've also got Alice on pre order so am looking forward to that, thanks for watching, much appreciated. Tom
Hi Kris ill have a look out for those, i must admit the old bemo couplers i got from dundas work better on my kit built rolling stock than the ready to run bachmann and peco couplers, there just abit big, thanks for the info. Tom
Hi tom, what a dinky little loco or have you got big hands lol 😂 it ran lovely shame about the couplings but there’s not a lot of choice with these small locos cheers Al
Probably abit of both Al 😂 am really happy with the loco and am sure if I played round with different rolling stock I can get a better coupling up, I had another run today and it's pretty much faultless over the points now, thanks for watching. Tom
If you remove the hoop on one side of all the locos and wagons, they will couple much more easily. Leave the hoop on the rear, remove the front hoop and the hoops are not in each other's ways.
Hi on this particular loco it doesn't have any hoops on it, I now what you mean and its a good idea but I do think some of the peco couplers connected to bachmann the hoop isn't quite long enough to catch the hook, fine while running but abit of a pain when it comes to shunting I do find the bemo couplings I used on the kit rolling stock better, thanks for watching and for the advice, much appreciated. Tom
Hmm. I am still 50/50 buying one of these. Thing let’s this down is the gearing. If it was a tad more slower it tip the balance of me buying one. I am really hopping that Bachman or any other company do more narrow gauge diesels. Rail listers or Rustons and so on. But the real ones I hoping to see one day are South African Railways locos and rolling stock.
I wouldn't be suprised if bachmann started doing some of the Welsh Highland railway garretts next, o think they have a few diesels under development, am sure ill get one if i still have a bank account by then 😂and with the quarry hunslet the more I ran it the better it got, I had another running session with it today and it was faultless over the points I've got it running pretty slow now, not quite a crawl but it's pretty good, if you decide to get one drop me a comment and let me know how you get on, thanks for watching. Tom
@@northwesttrainsmodels well I sure hope they do lol. I personally have a soft spot for garratts. Yeah. It be interesting what they bring out. Oh did you, that’s good to hear it’s running a tad more smoother and slowly. Yeah, I shall do,
i have considered it, i think olivias are sound fitting them to, ive still got a back log of 00 locos that need upgrading so it might be some time before i get round to the hunslets, it is handy though being able to use the bachmann sound fitted locos on analogue with my older locos
Hi thanks ill take a look, i must admit the more i ran the loco the better it got and its pretty faultless now on all my points but ill check out the link, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Tom
Got the 'Nesta' on pre-order. Got my 009 track laid ready! This one looks good.

Greenwich couplings or bust. You can get them from Andrew Hastie from Dundas models. I swear by them! C/o Llandaft 009.👍🤓🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂

If you want to go superduper, stay alive and sound DCC, have a natter with tramfabriek. (I think that's how you spell it) regards. K.
