The trap connection as he himself said in the video. It should have been a glue assembly for the waste and overflow not tubular to avoid using the band.
It looks like you forgot to press the 1/2 pp drop ear before you screwed it in not sure, but it still looks like it may have been unpressed when the water was flowing…
Trap connection is fine. You're dealing with existing plumbing thats in far worse shape than the transition they're crying about. Bois gotta give grace on remodels.
wouldn't the assembly with c.i. fittings be more reasonable? a brass tail piece for that waste and overflow with a transition coupling would've been ideal but yea I guess that rubber hose and regular no hub coupling can work but for how long? anyways I'm not talking smack I'm just trying to understand this cowboy stuff you did.
