Guys, get a front rack for your bike and get a pizza insulated bag to keep the pizza warm. If you leave it out like that the pizza will get cold quick af! For the drinks you can get tampered drink tape. They're about $7 a roll, so just stack on that(to look more professional and clean than scotch tape). 1 last thing is to get some type of shock absorber or memory foam pads to put in your rear rack for extra support to prevent any spillage.
good sugestions but on the tape its uuber/door dash if they care about presentation and proffesionalism they can supply the fancy tape i really dont see anyone complaining about scotch tape on there drink theyll just take one look go oh thats to secure the lids and move on with there day so save your money and dont spend more than you have to on big corporations who actually give less of a shit than you do as long as they make money definatly do the other stuff though especially the pizza bag also worth while get a cargo net i have one on my bike its just a net made from elastic you can stretch over your cargo and hook to the frame / rack and it keeps everything held down niceley
thanks for the eye-opener it has been hard especially spilling drinks every time I make a delivery. Thanks for the tips.. all the way from Nairobi Kenya Africa
For an pizza box, carry 2 trash bags. One as a liner and other as a water resistant layer. Other choices are to make a mylar bag (blankets you get from marathon races to a bag). For the handle, get a carabineer, preferably large ones you get at home depot. I hope this helps.
could also just get a pizza bag to slap them in on top of the regular bag they roll up somewhat small and are ready for when you have to carry stuff out of bag
So this is super useful for me. I haven't started deliveries yet but now I know what bag to go for and how to pack it! I'm technically registered as a bike delivery guy but I'm planning on doing deliveries on my boosted board which goes 26mph so I'll definitely get deliveries done fast lol
Nice I use my boosted board as well when I do uber eats and have extra battery to swap just incase i get stranded in the middle og a delivery and then for doordash I use a car
They make a scotch tape dispenser that fits on your index finger and only gives you a couple inches of tape for present wrapping, may be perfect for you.

WILCER, you can also put the three drinks on the silver cup holder then you can put the pink cup holder on top with another two drinks. That way the space on the right side will be free for more food, maybe that will help you better.
I bought this bag on your recommendation and am very happy. One trick I did for that top handle was using a carabiner to connect them instead of the velcro. Undoing the velcro every time to access the main box was a bit of a headache and took two hands. The cup holder they gave me was a bit different and they changed the spot of the inner box velcro, have no clue why velcro is in a worse spot now and doesn't line up with the cup holder velcro. Still happy with the quality, the other amazon bags are terrible in comparison
I use duct tape to cover the velcro and only leave a few areas exposed. That makes it easier to open and close the top lid 😎 yeah the cup holders it comes with are decent. I created my own kit that i put in these backpacks. You can check em out at my website www.crankhustle.com
Drinks spill all the time tape is the best solution. It would suck if u were delivering in super cold weather like me. The cold here in Illinois is bone chilling. I'm still not use to it
Great tips but I wish restaurants and the delivery companies would communicate enough to specify only tightly sealed containers for bike delivery and in general. I use shower caddys to carry oversized drinks in my vehicle. Just like you use your jacket, I have other things to stop the shifting and spills.
Cup holders for drinks work very well for me. I typically use the square shaped ones that hold 4 drinks each & never had a spill incident since utilizing them. Very good at keeping the drink cups steady & in place. And of course I always ride slower when transporting beverages than when I'm not
I was checking out another vid from some guy who dels on a motor cycle and he wraps the drinks in saran wrap. He just carries a roll of it with him. I'm starting out, just looking at vids for some clues and tips. Thanks for the info...

Thanks for this video! I just started Uber Delivery. That Packir bag is awesome. I will definitely try the scotch tape trick on the cups. I love your personality! Great video!
I use an elastic bicycle strap with a pizza bag above the box. I've been using the the scotch tape method to cover the "X" straw insert on fountain lids for awhile now. I ride a roadie so my position is pretty aggressive. I had to loosen the strap a lot to keep it level while riding.
taping over the holes may be good idea until the few customers complain about the sticky part of the tape swirling around with the drink. Also there may be an order when the customer removes the tape and sees your dirty finger print on the tape that was covered over the hole of the cup.
I would recommend food grade stickers like bagel brothers uses on their lemonade cups. I wonder if door dash makes/sells these. Otherwise you could probably get them from a food service supply store. I had them at my old catering job.
Due to the wear and tear of my Bike I only deliver 3 days per week. They do stack your orders and I don't like that people drive crazy and u could get seriously hurt in a Bike accident.
My favourite way of wrapping drinks was in japan i saw some drinks for delivery they cover the top in plastic wrap before they put the lid over it Never seen anyone do it anywhere else like this ever
I use a small igloo cooler for drinks and get one of those cup holders from restaurants when they spill over I just throw the tray away and clean the cooler but this is for car delivery
You guys should get more tips for all the work you put in delivering food. Question, how do you carry your U- lock? I see you put it away and pull out really fast.
Nice. I figured out how to make a diy quick release mount for my rack cargo, but yeah soft drinks are the worst! Some people also use plastic wrap around the whole cup but I haven't tried that yet.
they tell you not to put clothes inside your bag and also don't tamper with the food and it's packaging - so really you're not allowed to tape drink cartons up. Here in the UK 5 guys, BK, and KFC all give their drinks in sealed cans or bottles or tape up the cartons very securely (5 guys). It's only mcdonalds who continue to issue drinks in cartons and don't package them properly to stop leaks. Obviously a lot of small or independent restaurants don't always hand over the drinks in a way that is appropriate for a cycle delivery. The mcds drinks always come in a cup holder and a brown bag. So I put them against the side wall of my bag and put the food in its bag next to them. so the drinks are essentially trapped against the side of the bag and the food. This mostly stops them tipping over, although is not 100% reliable. Also, ride sensibly and don't ride off curbs. Always go off the curb where it has been lowered. Unfortunately the roads are in very bad condition in the UK, so it can be very difficult to reach the destination without having a bumpy journey.
