Hi. So, third part is definitely my favorite, In The Forest is crazy. The "hidden" track is called... Terra Incognita. Pol And Rock was the first time I saw them play it live, and what a great surprise.
To come back to the production side I'd like to mention a couple of things to put this album in perspective. It's from 2001, and until mid 00's / 10's extreme metal bands had not all a quality of production that good back then, the big names for sure (Morbid Angel, Criptopsy, Vader, Deicide for exemple had really huge sound) and the first album from Nile for exemple is quite muffled, very fast bands were usually deserved by their sound. Plus Gojira are french, and death metal in France back then was almost non existent, well there were a couple of bands with decent success since the end of the 80's (Loudblast, Agressor, Massacra), but the level of production and speed was far from Gojira's debut. So this is a true exploit they achive here with mixer Stephan Kramer (who did it in 5 days. 5 DAYS!!!) Metal in France is culturally a very little niche, and still today Gojira is but absolutely ignored by the majority of people, so I'll let you imagine 20 years ago, when they were stiil almost just a local band from the south west, although they were intensely playing a lot of small venues, opening for big metal bands (Slipknot, Machine Head for exemple). So yeah this first album when it came out, was here a huge thing for french metal, even if it took months, almost years to grow in popularity. But back then when they were playing live, anyone who was experiencing one if their performances was in shock for DAYS. They built their sound and success on stage since their very begining. So, even if I lost them a couple of times (I'm not fan of the Flesh album neither the new 2020/2021 songs for example) but they are part of my life probably for a very long time!
So. Let's stay in France, and pick the other metal gem from here: Gorod. Please do "Disavow Your God", I can assure you you won't regret it!

Nice album reaction. Always very thorough on your reacts. You two are awesome. If you ever decide to do a Type O album react, I would suggest starting with October Rust. You have already reacted to 3 songs from that album so you can kind of get a feel for the sound on that one. It is their most produced and melodic album. But I would say this is one of my top 5 albums of all time. Don't forget to listen to the little extras they throw in between songs.

Hey, you guys should checkout the band Leprous from norway, They're an amazingly complex and expressive band with a god like drummer and the best vocalist I've ever heard. Try Slave live at rockefeller music hall, Acquired Taste from the same concert, or The Flood (still live)

Early Gojira is very underrated. The Link is my favorite album by them, but Terra Incognita is also really good. These 2 albums were more death metal oriented and more technical than their newer stuff.
Is Deyana having volume problems with those headphones? Seems like she's having trouble hearing. You might need a heaphone amp with them

yes there is a part 1 and 2. if you can't see them, they made a playlist with the 3 parts check it. that way you can see if the video is blocked in your country. and if it's the case, well your very unlucky and I guess a vpn is your only option

You're not alone! part 1 is blocked in my location and can't even view comments, It's a TH-cam problem usually due to licensing rights.
I've shown my niece "Gojira" over the Easter weekend and she highly approves which I only discovered "Gojira" last week!
