Oh that’s a crackin competitor list! They all have incredible attributes that set each one apart! Would love to see a full head to head review of all of those as a compilation! Excellent review and article! Keep up the good work!
Very impressive presentation. The editing makes this a quality more up to date presentation, with the use of slow motion with the title, then straight into the next presentation, having the storage doors already open, plus amazing delivery from the presenter. one of the best I've seen to date.
Of all the 70ft yachts i've seen this got one of the best interior design ever. It's like a little batman dungeon interiors. Hatts off to Kelly Hoppen interior design
These videos set the TH-cam standard now. The sea trial episodes are always must watches. Talking of watches, I'm always interested to see what you're wearing. As you're sporting an apple, if you get fed up of your Garmin Quatix, I'd be happy to free up some space in your watch draw 🙂
Great video as always Mr Haines , Pearl build beautiful yachts , and in my opinion up with the best , but they don’t get the recognition they deserve as they live in the shadows of Sunseeker , Princess and Fairline as great British boat builders.
Excellent work and I'm with Vernon regarding the top notch quality of both presentation and filming. You really showed this lovely looking boat at it's best. Best presentation/filming in your field imo. Carry on!
I've seen a few videos on this boat but yours is by far the most detailed!! Congrats. One question: on the owner's cabin there are I believe 4 skylights (glass panels on top). Can they be covered at night? For privacy purposes this is a must!! Thanks in advance, good job.
Thanks for the real world review. This yacht is an amazing owner operator yacht. i find the helm somehow dated and not that good, but that might be easy to change. BUT THE BEACH CLUB and the GARAGE are usp in this size
Great presentation and I believe this is the very best in your new field for now. What I really love is at the end you ( are allowed😊 from pearl ) showed the base pricing, but as well the not cheap additional costs to make this little ship the owners gem. Mostly if boats are reviewed presenters only telling the base price and as we all can see today, the add pricing would make a big +% Really great 👍 and hope you will get in the future more often the chance to split the costs.
Excellent review with enjoyable presentation and well edited video. Really like the mix of tour and showing how she looks and behaves out on the water. This definitely showed off the benefits of the huge windows and great views from the interior.
Thats a stunner ... different wood , more bright and without that altair in the salon and it would be close to perfect... wow .. thx for showing .. :)))
Lovely British built boat as usual. However it strikes me having attended various boat shows here and abroad. The big contender's like Sunseeker, Princess, Pearl, Fairline and possibly even Prestige (not British built) seem to have the same DNA. Not a big difference in pricing, quality and performance! But still love them all ❤
Great vid of an impressive yacht, you looked very cool docking her 😎 and great to know the MFD's are within easy reach 🤣😂🤪👍, cheers Jack, all the best. 👍❤️🇬🇧
They need the galley access moved to across from the fridge/panty. I'd also like to see a joystick option. But a very nice boat and a great presentation 👍.
Guys I know I have complained a lot about a lack of variety of boats and a tendency to favor British boats. Even when I wrote that, you were gracious enough to respond back to me. Now im watching your channel, and I can see you've hit some of the best non british gems (pearl, galeon etc) not to mention, the picture in picture of the floorplan while doing the walkthrough, the quality of production, the details, and the calm presentation style...Kudos to you guys. Amazing work :). PS - Hope you guys can review some of the american style boats one day (carver gls50, tiara etc) they are a different style and made for a different style of boating. Once again, amazing work! ❤🎉
It’s very rewarding to read comments like this, thanks so much for taking the time to post it. We’re thrilled you’re enjoying the videos, there is lots more to come. 👍
Was not sure at first look , but that finish has grown on me , like it very much , would have the bigger MFDs and the better thrusters, but overall as always an excellent review , was sold on a Y72 but not so sure now , thanks 👍
Great video Mr Haines, I would buy one now if I had the funds as I’m sure your good self would, beautiful yacht. The only criticism I have is, the music is way too loud compared to when you are speaking, it nearly blew my ear’s off 😂.
The sea was pretty calm on the day of our test so the gyro wasn't called into action all that much, but I've tested boats with them fitted in bigger swells and the difference - at rest especially - is pretty remarkable. - Jack
A question from a newbie...Can this boat be used for international travel? does it have the capacity or is a sailing boat better?? say from Australia to Italy ??
Its maximum range (at slow speed) is probably around 800nm so although you can travel a reasonable distance you certainly couldn’t complete a voyage like the one you describe.
This is an interesting and awesome boat. Would love to see a test run in something more akin to an 8' to 10' sea state. After 10 years of navy life, these glass sea states, 0 to 2', are really pretty rare. Just saw a video of a 46 footer in 8' to 10' seas, and it was beating the hell out of the pilot and passengers at 20 knots. Not a good selling point.
I like the presentation and editing along with the occasional useful graphics. As for the boat. I like Bill Dixon's work and have no use for Kelly Hoppens.
I love pearl the only gripe I have is they put the flybride stairs inside the saloons and takes away saloon seating! I doubt you would sit 6 people on lounge seating with 2 on the 2 single seats so 8 can sit comfortably to watch tv! I wish on all these reviews you say how many people can sit comfortably on saloon seating! But putting the fly stairs on inside takes to much saloon space on most there models! This is 72 footer 8 guests boat it should have huge saloon seating area like princess have! Otherwise it's a beautiful machine! God bless all and happy sailing ⚓🛥🙏❤
Love the Kelly Hoppen designs. She does such an elegant job. Way better than Achille Savigne for Azimut. I dislike his washed out bland colors amd rounded bean shapes everywhere. Plus the design is all one level. They took such great thought with this. Definitely the better choice than an Azimut 7x in my opinion. Sunseeker, Princess, and Fairline obviously are the greater competition and Fairline would beat out Pearl because of the hull design to avoid wave slap. But Fairline doesn't make a yacht this big, so you are losing there with them
nice boat overall. not really fond at all of the styling they have done for the hard top. and come on, the upper helm obviously needs improvement. i would go so far as to say they need to start again on the entire flybridge. lower helm is better but it is obvious you will bake on warm days from the glass above as well as suffer glare on the dash. the entire front of the main deck is a total greenhouse. the split tables in the cockpit are excellent. and the interior.....totally to personal taste but this better be your exact personal taste. cabin arrangements are very good and unique but obviously the working areas of the boat suffer. the galley barstools are cool but overall the galley is bad. well presented, jack. you were very kind.
Interesting video but your mic saturate very often to the point of becoming very annoying. Could you switch to a better mic ? or Check your audio recording settings ?
Nice review, always put together well, but... can we take the reviewer out of the thumbnail? It looks cheap, next thing you know on the next boat it will be him with a "finger in the air he's had an idea" photo. More boat less bloke, can't go wrong.
Big no for me..too many changing angles and looking out the windows my ocd would go nuts with windows getting cut through with said angles of structure.
A superb boat, I am so impressed. BUT, and it's a huge deal breaking but, RUINED by the absolutely AWFUL main living area/galley which is utterly dreadful in every respect! What the hell were they thinking! It looks like an airport building connecting corridor! Get Fairline's designers on the phone, urgently!....... Kelly Hoppen's designs DO NOT WORK here (if anywhere) and are completely unsuitable, ridiculous in fact! That vast, central area of on board life, wasted, rendering the boat unsalable to a conscious person!
Mr. Jack Hines, Sir, you speak like a salesman and think everything is "beautiful". I don't like some things, for example the uninviting colors in the interior (all black/grey/beige). On a 72-foot yacht you usually need a crew, which is difficult to accommodate. I wouldn't buy a yacht in this category where you have to crawl in the engine room. What I don't like: On this yacht, the anchor chain (galvanized steel) is and can rust in sea water and possibly leave rusty water stains on the deck. Why no stainless steel chains? Sorry!

Excellent work sir! Nice to see the yacht in her natural habitat! Changes the look when it is out on the water not in a crowded show!
Glad you liked it 😊
Comprehensive and informative review Jack.Pearl do build some innovative yachts with excellent accommodation and this is no different.Great stuff
This was an outstanding review of a beautiful yacht. Really thorough and I love watching the boat at sea. Thanks so much.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Of all the 70ft yachts i've seen this got one of the best interior design ever. It's like a little batman dungeon interiors.

Thoroughly enjoyable and detailed presentation. Great work Jack.

Really appreciate that, Paul, thanks. The Garmin still has a place, for now, but if that changes you’re top of the list! 😉 - Jack
This Pearl 72 is absolutely amazing. There is nothing like it.
This is defiantly the right yacht for the sunshine state where the sunsets 🌅 are purple
Great video as always Mr Haines , Pearl build beautiful yachts , and in my opinion up with the best , but they don’t get the recognition they deserve as they live in the shadows of Sunseeker , Princess and Fairline as great British boat builders.

@@Yachtbuyer well deserved mate. See you at the next one!

Great Interior execution - nice overall vessel.
Thats a stunner ... different wood , more bright and without that altair in the salon and it would be close to perfect... wow .. thx for showing .. :)))
Thanks for watching!
Great review. I prefer the way this was filmed compared to some earlier vids as you seem to show the living areas more comprehensively.
Glad you liked it!
Wow, a stunning yacht and an epic video! Great work
Thanks a lot!

Great review Jack. How much of a difference did the sea keeper make?
The sea was pretty calm on the day of our test so the gyro wasn't called into action all that much, but I've tested boats with them fitted in bigger swells and the difference - at rest especially - is pretty remarkable. - Jack
