Thanks Andy! It's amazing what can be done with carpentry tools and a welder! I'm curious to see your new wash plant out in the wild!

@@UtmostOutdoorsyes so true, i’m building my trommel now with the most basic of tools lol, it’s hilarious how big this thing is, it makes all my tools feel like bob the builder equipment.
I’m stoked to show you when it’s done, it should be beastly.

I was going to make a dredge/sluce boat conversion on a tiny. Have long hoses for land or deep river beds

Thanks for watching my videos! I'm glad you enjoy them enough to keep coming back. It can be difficult to figure out all the rules sometimes without talking to people in the know... it's a weak point for me, so I'm always trying to learn more about it. I'll do my best to share what I'm learning along the way as tidbits of information mixed into the videos.

Amazing build. You think the reflection from the sun might make your eyes tired? I know painting the surface will scuff off but might be worth it.. no clue, just thinking out loud

That's a good point! Also I just watched part of the second build video in this jet sled playlist, and at that time the diamond plate looked super shiny and bright. It actually looked good and new, where as now it's all faded and tired looking due to aluminum oxide. Might make the boat look nice and fresh to paint the top deck too at least! Keep on thinking out loud!

@@UtmostOutdoors im sure there is a coat you can apply to keep it from scuffing so quickly. Probably expensive stuff though. Rhino bed type stuff might be a good choice for the floor. Although that would make sliding things around tuff. Maybe some type of apoxy that's used on garage floors?? 🤷

You implied what else? My mind was doing back flips. Frist thinking, cabin cruser ,with the steering up front, behind a windshied, canape, twin motors. I can see the flag streeming be hind.

Baby steps with all the planning... Step one is to get her out on the water and mine! I'd love console steering instead of the tiller, but I don't want to spend the money for controls right now and the current layout works well enough for now. I definitely want to get setup to camp on the boat some nights though! And a big trip to some big water this fall maybe, even if I have to wait until next year to hit the coast!
