its always the same with gain players. give them the clean channel and they have absolutely no idea what to do with it. at all. like it scares the shit out of them. its weird.
the best amp tweakers are also the ones who actually can play. that is why guitar players love the amp. in addition to you another great player whose amps are pretty coveted is mark cameron.

Everytime I hear this amp I think there is no way in the world Eddie’s amp was not modified by Jose’ at one time or another if it wasn’t modded what did he need Jose for? tube changes?!? just my thoughts I am not looking for a debate thanks

I got the boards and faceplates a year ago,still compiling the rest. I cant wait to hear the ALTA! Thanks for everything. I see another order from Headfirst is coming from me for sure!

Yes, Gargoyle set here with about 490v plate voltage. Yes, Hammond set will be fine.

I know what you mean re the variac and all that, it’s not the most convenient that’s for sure.
