It was not a mess! The same reasons for the coup still exist, even worse reasons! The people that frustrted their efforts where are they? If given another opportunity will they repeat the same mistake? Those 6 majors were legends! We need to stop thinking tribally! That was a National coup. It was the misinterpretation that is still destroying Nigeria! May their spirit "resurrect"IJN!

Point of correction, the original Narrative Nigeria Majors were 5 by Major Adewale Ademoyega, one the principal Majors that plotted the coup and wrote the first book on the military take over in 1966. “Why We Struct” in 1981.
In addition a Nigeria ex-Army officer Captain Emanuel Nuwobosi that executed Ibadan zone surfaced 4 years ago. He gave his own account why his gang plotted the coup.
From Captain 👩‍✈️ Nwobosi account of the coup, they save Nigeria Islamization from Samuel Akintola and Sadauna of Sokoto on January 17, 1966.
According to the ex-soldier, they quickly carried out their plan to save Nigeria from Islamization on January 15, 1966.
Captain Nwobosi account of the major reason why the army struck was the same with Major Adewale Ademoyega’s account in his book “Why We Struck”. Both army officers were principal 2 Majors that planned and carried out the coup at Ibadan and Lagos.

No. They are the major devils that originated the tribal misgivings and distrust till today. They disrupted Nigeria unity and planted the seeds for further coups. If you check well, you find 5 out of the 6 were from same tribal background. What does that tells us? The next coup that brought Gowon mostly from another tribal background. The coups started by them and tribalism is still our problem today

Also, the first book “Why We Struck” written by one of the principal 5 Major coup plotters Major Adewale Ademoyega. The book detailed the major reasons for trucked Balewa government, Among the cogent reasons was Sadauna of Sokoto joined with Ladoke Akintola planed to Islamize Western Region.

Coup plotters do not involve highly placed individuals. If you know Zik's stance in the independence struggle, you will understand that you cannot convince him to go against what he fought for. Remember he was the unifying enigma that ensured that Pa Awo and Pa Tafawa got on.
It would be naive thinking that because he left for the UK, then he knew of the plot - Hear this: The PA to Herbert Wigwe stepped down from the ill-fated helicopter that claimed the lives of Wigwe's family and other persons. Please what do you say about the man that stepped down.
I took a man to the airport to board United Airlines flight to New York. His Int'l Passport got missing during checking in. "MYSTERIOUSLY". He was to attend an important meeting at the WTC building on the 11th of September 2001. "9/11 HAPPENED". Are you going to say that he knew about the attack. Nzeogu clearly through your narrative is made to be the villain. unfortunately for you, you cannot rewrite history. all records, interviews granted and documented by all military and non military leaders show Emmanuel Ifeajuna as the planner and leader of the coup plotters. Here you present Nzeogu as leader which is an outright misinformation to the general public especially the young. It is our duty as parents to be upright and bequeath our kids unadulterated facts.

Thank you. But you know what? You've not read "all the records" on the subject. You did not also watch my video till end. You would have heard what I said about Nzeogu and Ifeajuna concerning the leadership of the coup. You would have heard what Ojukwu said about this issue, etc.
All the same, I appreciate you so much for your time and everything.
