Hi! Just saw you on the AFOOL podcast and didn't know you did BlueBrixx videos (hard to find any in English). I've gotten several sets from them, mostly Star Trek, and they're not perfect but I feel like I've gotten good value. I got a 1600-piece Christmas Bakery set I'm going to build that I got for only 40 euros (plus the $35 shipping, but I bought several other sets at the same time) so no complaints about price per piece. And I know they do build physical models of their Star Trek ships because I've seen their German language videos where they show prototypes and sometimes even show model designs that failed and explain why they built certain ships the way they did.
Thanks for watching! It definitely helps the channel when videos get views on the first day. I've really needed moral boosts lately myself so it's nice to know I can provide the same for others! 😀
I did a review of the Signal Gantry Box a while back, I did make some modifications but for the price I don't mind that at all. It's not like Lego is any competition for them since they make so few train themed sets. I've been very happy with my purchases but always go in knowing I will be making modifications
The problem with their "Coming Soon" is it is anything but soon, they should put "Coming Soonish, maybe next year...or the year after...possibly next decade".
I don't think it took too long for these to be available but then again I have no idea how long they were "coming soon" when I signed up for the notification
I'm not sure what you mean by trafo? The 9v switch tracks will switch the power by design and the electrical switching is something I've been doing for a while and have dedicated videos on. Hope that answers your question
The price is good, sure, but the quality of the bricks looks pretty poor. Everything looks so loose and I notice a lot of color variation (especially in the greens and browns and uneven gaps in the tile work. You get what you pay for I guess.
I wish we got what we pay for but the quality standards at Lego have been slipping for many years. To me 99.9% of BlueBrixx pieces feel fine and fit together well. There are certain pieces that don't meet that standard but it's pretty rare. With the price of Lego constantly going up while the quality goes down I'm glad to have other options, especially when they make train sets
@@BatteryPoweredBricks I just got my first bulk order from webricks and I'm very impressed with the quality. Don't know who they supply but I'll be getting more from them. Some of the other off-brand stuff mixed in with lego I get off ebay is pretty poor in terms of colour matching and fit. They get sorted and go straight in the bin. Usually I can spot it right away :)

BB is pretty nice ImO, ofc it's not the same quality as Lego, but more then enough and it fits perfectly into my Train layout :-D
It's always fun and entertaining with you Bat. man
Nice! 🙂

These look really good, after checking their site I like the look of a few other things, the Gantry Signal Box looks so good.

YES love the bluebrixx videos
I'm glad, I always worry people won't like them but they often perform better than some of my Lego videos 😅

Great vid as always and fun railroad crossing
And module kings pretty good quality sadly the one have does not fit throughout corners because its to big and its the QJ locomotive
Gesundheit and God Bless you! 😂
Ha! I just built 2 Bahnübergange on from 4,5/12v area and one from the 9v area.
Maybe the coal cart would work better if you move the rail by a stud? then again the wheels arent designed for track
I played around with the spacing and never found anything that worked better 🤷♂️
As far as I know Bluebrixx makes their own or have others design sets for them.
Looks like all of the train sets I've checked were designed by "Alex". Glad they have him around! 😁
How do you switch the trafo between the trains?
