Imagine if they also licensed some of the current operating steam locomotives and trains from 1st class, private, and non-profit railroads and museums. As someone from America, having a Lego Big Boy, Challenger, Daylight, Northern, J-class, S3, A-class, and even "The Living Legend" FEF-3 would be amazing!
Along those lines, there could be different sub-themes: Britain with British locomotives, America with American locomotives, Germany with German locomotives, etc
Actually "powered tender pushed locomotive" has become quite common with steam engines in conventional model railroading (think Roco, Trix or Märklin). One of the advantages is that the tender is a closed box anyway while they can offer more detail and even places to "look across" between the frame and boiler on the loco if there's no mechanical feed between the engine and wheels straight down as there would be with the engine in the boiler. Usually the locomotive is still heavy enough to run fine through turns and everything. (Granted, some just have the motor in the tender and drive both tender wheels and locomotive wheels via a propshaft)
I have used tender power in both my LEGO steam locomotives, it's a lot easier then trying to do a ton of complex gearing into the drive wheels. Also using Big Ben Bricks drive wheels, which I got before the introduction of the traction bands, so powering them through the locomotive would have just been wheelslip simulator 9000!
Also your concept for a Lego theme train follows perfectly with what I would want, which is basically how model trains are sold but with lego. Also I've been super tired of electrical trains and I'm personally a fan of steam engines myself so I'd be super happy to see them make it a theme
Or just make the LEGO City train sets more often and make them more realistic and grimey looking. While it is true that modern train liveries are more vibrant, the city trains having brighter colours gives them a bit more of an abstract feel to them.
That is an argument that has raged in model train forums since forever. Grimy might be accurate, but not everyone wants to be that realistic. I think the best they could do and still hit their marketing demographics are neutral greys
This is a great idea. As a train enthusiast to begin with I truly love this. I love the scale of the Lego train sets, especially when used around a Christmas tree ( I don't know why but trains and Christmas just go together in my mind.). Having a well detailed and runable steam locomotive at the head of a "Christmas" train, especially if that locomotive was a North American design (I'm Canadian after all....... which on a side note there are some very beautiful Canadian Steam locomotives out there, Canadian National's 4-8-4 6400 and Canadian Pacific's 4-6-4 Royal Hudson just to name two) would be a real seller for me and I'm sure most as well.
I think a Lego Trains theme would be amazing. I’m huge into electric model trains and would think it would be so fun to have the Lego option for model railroading. There would be a huge market for kids that like trains but can’t afford an electric train set. They do need to have detail and not be too blocky. Lego could do trains from all over the world the Union Pacific Big Boy, Southern Pacific Daylight, a Garratt used in Africa and even a Swiss cog train. It would open up the world of Lego immensely.
Mabye a series called legend of the rails? We can have UP 4014, for being the largest engines on track; Shinkansen 0 series, for being the first high speed train in the world; Or LNER 4472 Flying Scotsman, JNR D51...Any famous trains!
I’m not a big LEGO railroader anymore, but I still have my Emerald Night in one piece. It thankfully wasn’t being kept with the other sets when my shelves collapsed. My track is still in the basement, in case I want to get it out again.
Dude, I agree with you on ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in this video! I love LEGO, I love trains, I’ve been a Thomas The Tank Engine fan my WHOLE LIFE, so if I ever become a LEGO designer, making ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in this video a reality would be my FIRST priority!
As a older collector, I have pretty much all of the LEGO train related products since the late 80's. The train community is a niche market within the current business model. The licensed themes dominate the market and some of the more traditional themes have drifted away. Trains, Pirates and Castle have all suffered with either no product line or dumbed-down products with off-sized pieces and awkward looking builds. As far as trains are concerned, there are several third-party track and model providers that have some high quality products that offer a lot of opportunities for the LEGO train enthusiast.
There was once a dedicated trains line in 2001's My Own Train, which had a similar proposal, though they didn't have the many variations on wheel size. I know I want a return of the tracks to separate straight and curved sets.
I got the crocodile locomotive this past Christmas and LOVE it. In all my 20+ years of Lego (I’m 28) I’ve actually never intentionally kept a set assembled and displayed until I got that set cause it looks so nice. Wish and hope lego makes more
I love this idea. I have always loved trains and legos, I was disappointed that lego doesn’t release a lot of train sets. The most recent one I was impressed by was the crocodile locomotive, even if I didn’t get it. So yes I would love to see steam trains, even builds that are more specific and diverse, like a thatcher Perkins type loco and some western cars, or a mikado 2-8-4.
HELL YES!!!!! WE NEED THIS!!!!! LEGO NEEDS TO DO THIS!!!! WHY IS THIS NOT A THING!?!?!?!?!?!? THIS WOULD MAKE SO MUCH MONEY FOR LEGO!!!! THIS WOULD BE A WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN!!!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE PUT THIS ON LEGO IDEAS!!! THE WHOLE IDEA OF THE LINE!!!! IT WOULD BE PERFECT!!!! I NEED THESE!!!! AND THE NEW AGE THOMAS WOULD GET SO MANY MORE PEOPLE INTO LEGO AND THOMAS COMBINED!!!! IMAGINE!!!! IT WOULD BE PERFECT!!!!
Yes yes yes! This would be AWESOME!!! To be able to buy track, engines, and coaches separately, to have more variations of wheels, this is an awesome concept that Lego really should consider, cause they'd make a lot of money with it, I can guarantee that.
I would absolutely love this theme I want to get into building Lego trains but most of the reason I haven’t is the parts limitations as you said and it would bring a whole new community I think into building Lego trains
Exactly I would love to see a black 5, a olton hall, different types of tank engines, tons of rolling stocks, Thomas the tank engine sets and my favorite the polar express
Making some locomotives & passengers carriage in separate I think is a super good idea. I remember when I was a kid buying the Santa FE train, it was sold in 2 packs. One was the locomotive, and the other one the carriage, but it include many variants with extra pieces to make a regular passenger, or the restaurant, or the cargo one or the tail vagon. You could buy the locomotive and any number of wagons to make your train larger as you want and with all variants as you want. Super cool video Tommy!!
While I don't have too much interest in trains, I think this would be really cool. I love Lego and engineering, so while I probably wouldn't buy some of the more expensive/bigger trains, I might buy a smaller train. Having the option to expand the train later via different sets sounds amazing, especially if I start off small. I hope Lego does something like this.
I agree with all of the points made in this video. Except for the one about the magnets. The reason why the old magnets were retired was due to the major choking hazards and the dangers of swallowing one or two could cause major internal damage. I would suggest the 1x3 technic design LEGO did for their Hogwarts Express could work or a smaller set of chain links with a hook similar to European steam locomotives.
An easy one would be a certain blue E2 to be packaged with his faithful coaches. Of course he would have to have his own subline of your proposed Lego theme that deals with licensed fictional locomotives. The upside would be that if there is an official Flying Scotsman set, it would have the chance to have either have a real world design and the Thomas & Friends face as options for the builder to utilize.
Thomas is also an allowed IP for submissions in LEGO Ideas, so a successful set there could be used to test the waters for a full on Trains theme to come back.
Lego should definitely make more train sets in general. The market for them 2nd hand is huge and usually fetch good money. What annoys me with Lego is the lack of doors in their city train sets. I remember getting the Santa Fe train back in the early 2000s. That set was absolutely superb. The emerald night is an excellent set. Why there were no more carriages made baffles me. We all know how they’d sell.
Why isn't this a thing, like sure, LEGO is more focused on doing LEGO City & other things aimed towards small children, but with the release of the Crocodile Locomotive, it's clear that LEGO can clearly do this. This is a must.
A genius video and idea. I would love to have a specialised Lego train layout. Firstly, it's a much cheaper and quicker to build alternative to buying Hornby trains. Once you build the traditional railway layout it's a pain to either change and/or expand. Lego provides a zillion different possibilities. I love the idea of having proper platforms, rolling stock, engine sheds, turntables etc. I think a Lego train series would be huge.
Just finished watching the video, it's great! The separate rolling stock (rolling stock as in both locomotives and wagons/carriages) sets are a great idea to be sure. Steam locomotives also returning to LEGO would also be great, considering that there barely are any that are licensed. :p
I think there's enough of an interest in trains to for them to be their own product line. So I'd like to see Lego separate the trains from their City line and give them an independent line. City can still have rail vehicles, but maybe limit it to smaller things like trolleys/trams, light rail, and monorail. Perhaps part of this hypothetical Lego train product line would be "Upgrade kits", parts packages people can use to upgrade pre-existing Lego sets (i.e. "Emerald Night Upgrade Kit", "Hogwarts Express Upgrade Kit", etc.).
Personally with the current concept of Lego, it's amazing that they've made a super detailed VW T2 but I've always wanted them to be able to produce a licenced Flying Scotsman, or other variant of a steam train with said custom parts since when trying to build a steam train using stock Lego parts it looks rather unimaginative
Great work man - looks properly authentic the mock-ups you've done. Yeah, I think this is a great idea - your suggestions for packaging and products all made sense and I'll be honest, if it was an official theme I'd go for it!
Yesssss we always need more trains. And steam trains are just amazing. If this was your dragons dens presentation I’d find right now. I tried finding out how much the emerald night was but the price just hurt. Great video!
I think lego should absolutely consider making a dedicated train system like you're describing. I grew up with lego trains, and found myself still using them long after most of my other lego sets were boxed up and put in storage. I always enjoyed trains, and had a moderate collection of HO scale models, but always found the lego trains to be the most charming. There is a serious hobby level community around lego's trains and creating more models which suit this groups needs seems like a worthwhile endeavor.
Honestly I love this idea. My biggest beef with how Lego has handled trains is their thought of American Steam being only the 4-4-0 or 4-6-0, and how they considered a theme park train a steam train. There is such a variety of American steam and they haven't even breached the smallest subset. I'd love to see some USRA Pacifics, some articulated locomotives, or basically any streamlined loco. Second to me is the issue of not selling individual rolling stock and track. It just isn't cost effective to buy Lego branded track when they sell it in the packs they do, and trying to find more passenger cars for my 60197 or for the Emerald Night is basically impossible. Alongside all that, extra side buildings would be fun and a nice addition. Good video, let's make it happen! (On a side note, I'm envious of you guys in the UK, you've done a much better job preserving your beautiful steam locomotives, and I would love to visit sometime and see them in person)
I love this idea you have for a brand new train line and your concepts and ideas are awesome! I've always wanted more advanced/UCS style trains and I feel that this would work well! I especially would love another steam train too!
WE NEED MORE STEAM TRAINS! I strongly agree with you and all of your great ideas and designs, we realy do need wider curves and individual carriages. keep up the good work and I hope you make another video on this topic.
I wish lego would do this, i am always wanting smaller trains and train cars for my city but can't afford the expensive lego train sets, i am also frustrated that you can't just buy switch tracks by themselves seeing as i have no use for any more curved track
As a TFOL who has grown up with my parents 12v trains and also the Power Functions Trains, I would keenly love more trains or at least parts to supplement building custom trains. The market is there, many people who have city layouts like having a train run through it.
I wasn’t into LEGO when the Emerald Knight released, though I saw it and considered buying it then. I bought the Crocodile and I love it. More steam trains, please. The idea of separate passenger cars is a great one. I would like more Hogwarts Express cars, but buying them on eBay is almost what I paid for the set.
Just to let anyone know about the LEGO Thomas, the person has updated the wheels and made them blue, he has also came up with concepts for Annie and Claribel as well as Percy, Toby, and Herrineta
I know some people will have a sour taste in the mouth but considering whats already out there in the open market with custom parts.. Make the investment... Buy a reasonable resin printer and make those custom pieces you really want and move along. LEGO will never do this again after the HORRIBLE release of this Idea they did back in the double 00's. that Steam set was SO bad that they not only should have fired that designer but they should have locked him or her in Prison for such a HORRIBLE set.
I love these ideas! We don't see enough steam trains in Lego, or the special parts for them. I especially like having the rolling stock and track in different sets form the Locomotives. You just got yourself a subscriber!
I want a D2C either Flying Scotsman or Mallard! I’d buy one of those in a heartbeat. They could release the Scotsman set and include instructions to make the classic version or the new 2015 version thats currently on the tracks 😃
@@twinboo529 I’ll bet you correct others in real life too? Alright I was one year out, so?! I was there in York when it pulled into the station for the first time in 2016. The mistake was a simple typo 🙂 now go about your day in peace.
Not really a big train guy myself, but after watching this video I could definitely see how great a dedicated train theme could be. Would love to to see either a Japanese bullet train or a American Style freight locomotive
I love this concept!! Its why I hope LEGO will push for an idea like this because their was a LEGO IDEAS Thomas and Friends model that was promoted, that needs those new wheel sizes to work! If they did a Steam line or Train line again id love to see the series create the Thomas and Friends in their own sets that can be directed for all ages
I thoroughly believe LEGO needs to expand into the modeling of American freight trains. The railroad community being the size it is, and amount of illegal builds. It's an entirely missed market by them.
A set like the Emerald Night but with separately sold sets for expanding a train would be an absolute dream come true. Not only would the Locomotive and Tender being sold separately from individual pieces if rolling stock help to cut down the cost but also give Customers more options so that they can buy specifically what they want without having to be forced to buy a set that includes something they don't care about just to get the essential main builds. I would personally prefer some bright and colorful like Southern Pacific Daylight or the Blue Comet. But oh man alive how I would love to see a New York Central Dreyfuss Hudson Streamliner with that beautifull Fin Crest and 6 holed driving wheels. Or even a Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 Electric locomotive or one of Japanese Shinkansen Bullet trains, proving that it doesn't have to just be the steamers of old and can appeal to different cultures all over the world. Heck, that could be a whole new line similar to Speed Champions for real world cars except for famous and obscure trains from throughout world history. I mean can you imagine just how amazing of a job the could do for that one Chesapeake and Ohio Steam Turbine Engine with all the small and and triangular and wedge shaped pieces that they've introduced in just the past 3 years? There have been so many advancements since 2019 alone.
What's stopping someone from starting a business making custom Lego train model sets? Could be like Brickmania does for military theme that Lego does not offer.
the funny thing is, LEGO used to have a product line for Trains like you're describing. I think it was called "My own Train". You could buy different Wagons for Cargo or passengers, there where Different Steam trains for which you could also buy different color schemes and also Straigt and crurved tracks in seperate sets if i remember correctly.
Every few years we have gotten another version of the Hogwarts Express. Now finally a decent version with real train wheels. This gives me hope for an even better version in the future, hopefully an UCS edition. The new crocodile train is the best LEGO set ever (after closing the gaps) IMO.
LEGO used to sell locomotives and rolling stock individually back in the day, and with multiple colour options too. I remember being super excited when I got my first locomotive when I was a kid but before I had the chance to get any rolling stock for it they discontinued that whole range. 😔 I do wish they'd go back to that business model tbh. I'd much rather be able to pick and choose the bits I want rather than being forced to get a play-set with a bunch of extra bits that just end up going into storage.
Was dubious going into the video, but wow what a well thought out argument. Got my son the city train last Christmas and it annoyed me that if I wanted another carriage it would be a new set. Also why don’t Lego have a cross over piece? I ended up moc’ing one to do the job. Selling individual parts to a train is great, and I hope someone takes note of your presentation, very good.
This exact concept is something IV been thinking off for years! And the main reason I never got into Lego trains I'm so glad someone is talking about it finnaly
Love this idea. When LEGO did something like this years ago I thought it was really well received in the LEGO community and has baffled me why they haven't gone back to doing something like this considering people would rush to buy these type of sets off the shelves. Strange business tactic
If that was the case, they're company would not exist as it is today. They are already beginning to feel the hurt of not having anything military as more & more people turn to COBI, Mega Blox, etc. The problem is that we're willing to make videos, not email the proper people. It's all supply & demand, or in fancy talk, logistics.
I would love to see the 4000 series, like "big boy", become a lego set. Plus, listening to what you said, I could really get behind the ideas of separate sets for passenger cars, box cars, and coal cars.
agreed. Steam locomotives may be old, but they hold a special place in my heart, and many other Lego train enthusiasts. I hope Lego realizes this someday and start releasing heritage steam, but that’s just me venting.
Anyone else remember “My Own Train”, where you could get a variety of steam trains in different colors? Back in the early 2000s, the Trains had several pages to themselves in the LEGO Magazines. Now they’re lucky to get half a page at all.
I'm 100% behind this idea, maybe a general trains theme instead of just steam (even though they're way cooler) but seriously, a lot of people and especially kids love trains
Lego need to do some of the famous steam trains. I would be there for a Lego Mallard, Flying Scotsman, Duchess Of Hamilton and especially for a Union Pacific Big Boy. Yes, they'd be expensive but how many enthusiasts would still buy it? the rolling stock idea is good too. As you said, making up a full train without it being part of a pre-existing kit is difficult. Official Lego goods and passenger cars would be fantastic. As you also said, the massive diversity of Lego brick colours would mean that you could build all the different A4 pacific variants such as Mallard, Sir Nigel Gresley, Bittern, Dominion Of Canada, Silver Link, etc.. The possibilities are right there, they just need to do a little bit of designing. Come on Lego, give us what we want!
I agree so much and I am sad that we don't have more bricks to work with. personally I have all Lego trains that have been released with in 2 years and I expected 1 or 2 more.thank you so much for supporting us (the Lego train fans)
It would be pretty amazing if Lego did more steam trains and made some really iconic ones for Lego sets. This would be a major change especially with people wanting to create their own Lego world. Imagine having Lego sets of famous steam trains like The Flying Scotsman, Mallard, Big Boy, and Norfolk & Western, just to name a few
I was fortunate to grow up with the 12v trains from Lego. You had a great range of trains, buildings and proper powered accessories. Given the huge adult following for both Lego and trains, it seems a no brained for Lego. Just wonder why they don’t go for it
As someone who group up with Thomas and Friends along side LEGO I would love to see a line of LEGO steam locomotives. I enjoy the concept sets that you presented in this video. Track packs are a must for any model railway enthusiast, so the same should go for LEGO trains. It's a clever idea to have the coaches/rolling stock sold separately from the locomotives.

Having a well detailed and runable steam locomotive at the head of a "Christmas" train, especially if that locomotive was a North American design (I'm Canadian after all....... which on a side note there are some very beautiful Canadian Steam locomotives out there, Canadian National's 4-8-4 6400 and Canadian Pacific's 4-6-4 Royal Hudson just to name two) would be a real seller for me and I'm sure most as well.
love those logos yeah Christmas is a steamy season would love another train to go round the tree!
@@TommyCBricks just re make the emerald night
I think a Lego Trains theme would be amazing. I’m huge into electric model trains and would think it would be so fun to have the Lego option for model railroading. There would be a huge market for kids that like trains but can’t afford an electric train set. They do need to have detail and not be too blocky. Lego could do trains from all over the world the Union Pacific Big Boy, Southern Pacific Daylight, a Garratt used in Africa and even a Swiss cog train. It would open up the world of Lego immensely.
Mabye a series called legend of the rails?
We can have UP 4014, for being the largest engines on track;
Shinkansen 0 series, for being the first high speed train in the world;
Or LNER 4472 Flying Scotsman, JNR D51...Any famous trains!
This idea is perfect, I would love to buy a small tank engine with a guards van motorizing it. The Mocs are beautiful btw, great video.
Thank you very much!
I’m not a big LEGO railroader anymore, but I still have my Emerald Night in one piece. It thankfully wasn’t being kept with the other sets when my shelves collapsed. My track is still in the basement, in case I want to get it out again.
I REALLY want these lego steam trains! Also I love how you use a minifigure to talk and show expressions and stuff, its really clever!
This was glorious and you are great
Dude, I agree with you on ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in this video! I love LEGO, I love trains, I’ve been a Thomas The Tank Engine fan my WHOLE LIFE, so if I ever become a LEGO designer, making ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in this video a reality would be my FIRST priority!
Hey me too! Grew up with season 1 on DVD LOL.

I'm glad someone finally covered this, I've been wanting more Lego steam engines for a long while
There was once a dedicated trains line in 2001's My Own Train, which had a similar proposal, though they didn't have the many variations on wheel size. I know I want a return of the tracks to separate straight and curved sets.
🤫🧏
I got the crocodile locomotive this past Christmas and LOVE it. In all my 20+ years of Lego (I’m 28) I’ve actually never intentionally kept a set assembled and displayed until I got that set cause it looks so nice. Wish and hope lego makes more
Yes I agree they need a Lego train section more for adults. I wish for them to make a polar express and big boy locomotive.
I am starting a petition! who is with me!
me1!!1!
A THOUSAND TIMES YEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
I remember having the Duplo TTTE sets and I’m a steamie fan, so this theme would be right up my alley!🙏🏻🙏🏻
8:12 You predicted the new Hogwarts Express set!
I LOVE this idea! And having so much box art and set examples to accompany it really shows the viability of revitalizing the lego train theme
We all know and need it. WHY CANT WE JUST HAVE IT
Supply & Demand. Lego aint gonna make the line up, if they do not see the demand coming in from the proper outlets.
@@BattleshipOrion It was supposed to be funny. I didn't really need an explanation lol 😂
@@dacrusty5460 My bad. GTA 6 rumors have been going hard, and I entirely blame Fortnite.
@@BattleshipOrion lol 😂 same
Why isn't this a thing, like sure, LEGO is more focused on doing LEGO City & other things aimed towards small children, but with the release of the Crocodile Locomotive, it's clear that LEGO can clearly do this.
WOW!, this is probably the best LEGO video I have ever watched on TH-cam! That was amazing and I really hope LEGO make this a theme now
Just finished watching the video, it's great!
Are you a Thomas fan?
Yeah! I was always looking forward LEGO release a Flying Scotsman with two tenders.
These ideas are brilliant! I think people in the LEGO train community would love these sets!
Someone should start a petition for this.
There is currently a Lego IDEAS Union Pacific Big Boy. The Community needs to come together and support it so that it becomes a real set through Lego.
I wish Lego could outsource the management of an adult train system to a company like PECO who understand the needs of layout builders.
I Agree with you 100%!
i love this concept dude, i’d really struggle not to go in hard on this!
with how much you buy already? XD
@@TommyCBricks Exactly!! 🤣🤣
Please do not take this as I do not love the idea you have.. I'd sell my soul if they did.... just saying that you might see unicorns first.
I love these ideas! We don't see enough steam trains in Lego, or the special parts for them. I especially like having the rolling stock and track in different sets form the Locomotives. You just got yourself a subscriber!
I remember "My own train" theme in 2001 and 2002. It was similar to your thoughts. ;)
I remember back when Lego trains was huge. I loved buying all those sets and do wish that they would have made more of a variety of steam engines
I want a D2C either Flying Scotsman or Mallard! I’d buy one of those in a heartbeat. They could release the Scotsman set and include instructions to make the classic version or the new 2015 version thats currently on the tracks 😃

Great idea! I like having locomotives and coaches separate so you can buy more than One coach for your train.
ERREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I thoroughly believe LEGO needs to expand into the modeling of American freight trains. The railroad community being the size it is, and amount of illegal builds. It's an entirely missed market by them.
I can't understand why they are completely ignoring this theme and just re-releasing the same passenger trains??
Dudeee, imagine a lego train version of sudrian engines like Gordon or Henry or even freaking Murdoch. Now that's what I would call a dream.
What's stopping someone from starting a business making custom Lego train model sets? Could be like Brickmania does for military theme that Lego does not offer.
good idea
MATE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE FOR W LONG TIME
the funny thing is, LEGO used to have a product line for Trains like you're describing.
I do wish they'd go back to that business model tbh.
You have no idea how much I agree with this. I just got the crocodile locomotive for Christmas and I love it. I really wish there were more trains.
It's a shame that steam engines are looked down upon in the Lego community. I agree with everything you said in this.
Wait what? They are looked down upon in the Lego fandom?
@@TankEngine75 I think there's been only two steam engines made in this century by Lego. Those being The Emerald Night and The Hogwarts Express.
This exact concept is something IV been thinking off for years! And the main reason I never got into Lego trains
I'm so glad someone is talking about it finnaly
Love this idea. When LEGO did something like this years ago I thought it was really well received in the LEGO community and has baffled me why they haven't gone back to doing something like this considering people would rush to buy these type of sets off the shelves. Strange business tactic
Did you seen the big boy Paffic Union that's would be a great set as a Creator set or the start of the new Theme The Trains of the past
Love the ideas, but we all know, LEGO hates trains
If that was the case, they're company would not exist as it is today. They are already beginning to feel the hurt of not having anything military as more & more people turn to COBI, Mega Blox, etc. The problem is that we're willing to make videos, not email the proper people. It's all supply & demand, or in fancy talk, logistics.
I agree
@@BattleshipOrion I love cobi
Has lots of cool useful parts too
I would love to see the 4000 series, like "big boy", become a lego set. Plus, listening to what you said, I could really get behind the ideas of separate sets for passenger cars, box cars, and coal cars.
Most of what you say is spot on, being from Australia I would like aussie trains as well. Good luck with your push for it to happen. Cheers
I would say trains with Tenders/CoalCars should come with them, but additional pieces can be bought elsewhere.
agreed. Steam locomotives may be old, but they hold a special place in my heart, and many other Lego train enthusiasts. I hope Lego realizes this someday and start releasing heritage steam, but that’s just me venting.
Aaaaaand now you've got me feeling nostalgic for the two Lego train sets I had as a kid.
Super movie !! 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚂🚂
I would be so excited to see the 1225 as a lego build! Please make it so, Lego!
You are so right. I would start a very costly hobby if @LEGO would have this done properly, like tou mentioned.
I think this idea is incredible
