Great stuff man.. Looks like you were using an ORTF pattern for the overheads. rock on. man, when I was a kid we recorded stuff by hanging a microphone from the ceiling fan and recorded directly into my friends tape deck and hoped for the best. =)
Nice!!!! Before I had a 4track I had a dual cassette boombox . I could record 2 whole tracks! lol
A bandmate of mine sort of permanently loaned me a Tascam 8 track cassette portastudio! I have been wanting to relive my 90's recording adventures with it, I had a Tascam 4 track cassette back then. However, I just haven't committed to it yet! Maybe you will push me over the edge!
It definitely feels like going back into a Time Machine and the workflow is slow BUT it’s still fun!
I just moved to a new place and as I was packing up I came across my old Tascam from the 90’s! Was thinking of throwing it in my current setup! Now I see this! It’s fate!
Nice! It’s definitely worth a try. I’ve been having fun along with some headaches of having to rethink workflow but I’m loving it!
