    小4の時にこの現場にいました。もう頭が真っ白になるくらい怖かったのを覚えています。母と手をつないで、走って外に出ました。
    この地震で亡くなられた皆様にご冥福お祈りします。

All the best wishes from Germany! I can't even imagine what such an earthquake feels like, since we rarely have very very weak earthquakes which you can hardly recognize. I just wish the rest of the world could also live without fear of natural disasters, like we do in Western Germany =( Please don't give up Japan, the rest of the world is with you!

The truth is in Japan when it's a 3, 4 or 5 pointer, you kinda just stay still and wait for it to be over. When this one hit, it started off like maybe a low 4 and gradually built over the first minute - that's when people are just waiting around - then after the first minute, it hits a 5 moves towards 6 - that's when people don't wanna be under those massive signs anymore...

In case if you don't know this: Japan is a country that survived many many many earthquakes for the past 2000 years. The buildings in Japan are earthquake-proof, for example; there are hundreds of Pagodas in Japan but not a single Pagoda is destroy by an earthquake. No need to be sad, my friend. They know what to do.
