Thank you for so detailed review! Really enjoyed your comparison. Would be interested to learn your opinion about Chimera 7 vs MOZ7 whixh would you prefer as a long range drone if you have to choose one of them. (Certainly, if you have time and inspiration for dedicated video - it would be interesting to see).
I agree.. we need the face off between the new chimera and the moz7. Chimera is packed up and hear it can get really warm.. also normal long ranges have the crossfire antenna at the front.. is that for a reason?
Many thanks for review ! I'm shocked by the weight difference. 140 g more in MOZ7? What did this come from? from a piece of aluminum to mount the O3 camera? Second - the specification says 700g in MOZ7, you show 794. Can you confirm this? As for the kV of the motors. Croc has higher kV, which results from the specifications...
I'm a big fanboy of GepRC and have numerous models of theirs in my fleet. However, I never understand why they don't offer diversity rx's in their long range quads. I have upgraded many of my long range models but they should be equipped as standard with diversity. Maybe, given your influence you could suggest this going forward??? Best mods to my beloved CB 4" has been diversity and GepRC's RAD 1W vtx. The Tern is a vast improvement but again lacks diversity. I have a Croc V3 but need to add diversity. Would be so much hassle if they came as standard.
Would be nice going forward but I have to tell you. Only 1 of mine have a diversity Rx. I’ve not had a problem losing signal. But great recommendation 👍🏻
At what sort of range do you fly? I use a ground station flying out to 6km+. Lost one quad a few years ago that didn't have diversity whilst turning back for home. Since then I have upgraded all my quads with diversity with improved additional antenna placement and never suffered the same fate. I just feel that if you give a quad the title of long range it should come with diversity. @@dronecamps
Hey, what IS the standoffs lenght of the moz7 compared to the croc7 v3? Are they both 25mm height or IS there a difference AS well? Could you please measure that for US AS well? Appreciate your Reviews... I really Love geprc priducts. Cheers JT
I gotta admit I'm even more torn on which one to get now, ideally going more for fast mountian dives and decent menuverability with an upgrade energy 9ah red
Hey I have a question since the dji goggles 2 have dual band liniar polarized antennas and the 03 airunit comes with the same standard would it be wise to replace the 5 ghz circular polarized antennas on the moz7 with rpsma liniar dual band WiFi router antennas especially if using the dji controller 2? Does anyone know if this would be possible?
Not gonna lie, this made it harder to decide which one to get 😅 Leaning towards the Croc75 even though it doesn’t have the heatsink for the sweet long flight and large truck bed. I was surprised to see the MOZ7 with all it’s updates is $40 cheaper than the Croc75. Decisions, decisions.
So many variables between these two. I really hope this video shed light for people on that. I mean I haven’t seen this info anywhere. I’m glad to have shown it in such detail. It really is my passion. I love 7”.
Yes there are. It helped a lot for me, I actually didn’t realize the heatsink difference between the two among other things. Do think the lack of heatsink is an issue on the Croc75? I have quite a few O3s and none have been an issue but none are closed off as much as either of these. I know you can take the covers off but I wonder if having cleaner airflow plus just keeping everything clean in general isn’t a better thing? (Hope that last made sense)
Okay, JD dumb question 1. Why not just use the DJI Mini 4? Dumb question 2. Why don't these fold and why can't there be some small landing pads? Is anyone working on a drone that can pivot the motors to gain speed? Maybe some small retractable wings?
@dronecamps I kinda of knew that would be the answer lol. But when you're dropping 7 bills and it's a long range flyer, where is that line where you start to think about maybe not being so yeah I'm gonna fly it like it's stolen? Plus what is the flight ID gonna cost becz one day it's gonna happen?
The difference between dji flying and these birds is actually learning to fly. Dji you are trusting the tech to fly for you, fpv you are developing your flying skills
I love the fact that you tested the heck out of these quads they seriously look bashed up!!
Thanks for making these videos on long range drones. There aren't many creators focused on these drones
Yw. No that’s true. Barely any
6:55 looking at the upgrade energy batteries for my moz7. What is the red one you're also looking at?
Do you think that these drones would benefit from AOS Supernova 2807 motors ?
Definitely getting the moz7

Went from chimera 7 to the moz7… so far just flying around the house…. The moz7 takes the cake…. Way more smooth
Interesting

How does the GEPRC MK5D-LR7 fit in this long-range stack-up?
I have wondered that myself.
Have you figured out how the MK5D-LR7 compares to the MOZ7 yet?

Has anyone tried running lower cell count and lower prop speed to reduce weight and increase flight times?
Would the Croc75 get reflections on a GoPro from the propellers ? Or only the O3 unit is concerned ?

Bro, I don't know if it's just me or not but when I try to join the discord server and tells me the link is invalid or has expired
Great Comparison! Where's the Link to the External Buzzer again?
I'd like the link as well !!
What is your affiliate link and discount code for Geprc please J? Cheers

4500 mAh label due air travel restrictions ? :D

Been waiting for this!

Take the back panels off. 👍🏻
I went with the Croc75. It will be here tomorrow. Can’t wait for it.

Some 7” do fold. Because Dji drones just don’t fly like these. Speed, power, and durability. These are super cars compared to Dji mavics.
