    Hello.
    Thank you for a great video.
    I found a reference to this fly in a book called "the history of fly fishing in fifty flies."
    Thanks to you I should be able to tie it now.
    What are popular sizes to fish?

      All depends on the hatches and fish your targeting but our favorite sizes for BC rivers and lakes are size 8 - 12.

    A wonderfully productive tie the tom thumb. What would you tie for a gomphus. Fish so full of them. Almost spitting them out. Have seen deer hair ties but doesnt make sense to me. Fighting to sink that tie or have to use lead. What are you thoughts on gomphus patterns?
