Great to see stuff kept alive and not just replaced. A mate of mine does leatherwork on cars and i've noticed that he usually heats up a big flatheaded screwdriver with a hot air gun before "combing" it over wrinkles to flatten them out, it might only work on plastic leather but its worth a shot if it annoys you
