    I haven't played Master Duel on PC in ages. Thank you for the explanation.

    I wish I looked into all of this stuff before. Far too many times have my setups been thwarted by not knowing I could have just activated my effects on draw phase to stop them getting a chance to play anything that might stop it

      Yeah, it is a shame Konami doesn't tell you these options exist.

    This was a big help for me as I made the new Yubel deck on MD and really wanted to know how to abuse it properly 😂

    During the festival this helped me beat a dark world player by chain blocking their fusion boss monster with my monsters' GY effects. That way I managed to get through the effect I wanted to fully resolve and I erased their board.
    If it was not for the chain block, I would have lost.

      Yeah, these settings and how to use them are an instrumental part of playing this game and can make you be competitive no matter what deck your playing (well, if you using chaining a little, vanilla beatdown will not cut it). Something that especially coming from paper or old-school YGO people tend to forget.

    If only I knew the self chain one before I finished grinding out the monster type event with that loaner labrynth deck. It could have saved me some trouble a bunch of times in mirror matches when my opponents had the same auto setting.

      Well, at least you'll know it now for future events. Might be relevant with Kashtira coming in the next box (allegedly).

    Thanks. I was getting crazy why i cant use my quick spells in end phase i searched with shizuku so i can set them with multirole

    It makes more sense for the order to be AUTO->ON->OFF like I just came from the surgical ON and if I ever wanna toggle its because I changed my mind in strategy. Still most likely would be able to trigger from OFF->AUTO anyway cuz most likely its a point where the opponent just activated something and I wont miss a trigger than the double -click

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly, I agree! When I play on my phone, you can only switch between by toggling the button, and I often find myself doing a full cycle to get from AUTO to ON.

  • @a.abdessamad

    Actually you would get prompts for activation for cards on the field or in the GY even with the toggle off, it only prevents prompts from the hand

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are probably right, but with the default settings you cannot influence the ordering to a full extent. The first time I noticed this was when I wanted to put Accesscode last in a chain (as the opponent cannot respond to it), but it always came up first.

    So essentially, you have you turn on thr ablity to chain block. That's kinds hilarious.
    All of this is good to know thank you :)

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it is quite weird. YuGiOh in general is already a difficult game, and now with a simple setting that defaults to a poorer performance... I don't know if that is the right choice.
      But anyway, thanks for your kind words! Glad it has helped you!

    thanks for the vid but i found that there is another option that is "custom" can u tell us more about it ?

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The 'custom' option was added later (don't know when, I am quite surprised to see it), but it gives you the option to change settings more specifically instead of the pre-sets given by Konami. For example, you can remove the toggle button, change the settings at the start of the duel and at the end of each turn. Not sure yet how exactly it will function, so I will need to test that first. Might make a seperate video for it if it is anything significant.

    This game is f'ed up lol all my opponents have summoned at least five 3000 attack pt monsters in the first turn 😂 and how the f am I gonna fight with that when all my trap cards are negated😂

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Traps you say? Play Paleo-mill + Transaction Rollback. You want to drop Rollback and some powerful traps in the grave, so you can activate Rollback from the GY to activate those powerful traps. 60% of the time, it works every time! Great success!
      P.s. I do have a disdain for trap decks, so I don't condone my own message.
