+spencer davis The game had creepy moments that went unexplained. Not just the ghost images (which were memory imprints from reused ADAM you use), but you'd witness things occasionally which were just... eerie, weird, strange... And then move on.
+spencer davis Agreed. When I was younger, and my dad bought Bioshock, I tried playing it because my dad was playing it so much, and I'm a little copycat :P Needless to say, playing that game, in the dark, alone, as a 10-year-old probably wasn't a good idea. Think I should try picking it up again? Maybe now that I'm older, and possibly more mature and more likely not to wet myself, I'll be able to play it no problem! :D
Shadow phoenix One time, a grenader splicer shot a grenade under a passing Little Sister and somehow managed to ragdoll her up against the ceiling. I thought the physics somehow managed to kill her, but she got up after like 10 seconds...
+spencer davis I know right, what also makes it even more creepier is the story that goes along with the atmosphere, hell even some of the audio logs even add a bit more depth to it,it's a well crafted game
Dont starve used to frighten me, but then my 2 best runs were ended by bloodthirsty penguins and (i kid you not) a turkey getting hit by lightning and then running into my base scorching everything to the ground in the middle of winter and leaving me to starve. thats when i couldnt help but find it silly xD
Minecraft. It sounds stupid, but when the ambient music plays in the background and you remember that you're the only person in that tiny, pixelated world...ugh it's sending shivers down my spine just thinking about it!
Postal 2, while not an inherently scary or unnerving game, got under my skin because of just how far I went while playing it. It showed me that, when given too much freedom, I would some pretty fucked up shit in a game. I got so caught up in that I _could_ that I didn't stop to think that I _should._ The game didn't offend me, far from it, it probably gave me one of the most profound moments of self-introspection that I've ever had from a game. It showed me that I could be appalled at my own actions in a game, which before that I didn't think was possible.
Carl von Linné You know, I couldn't say. It's a game meant to be a tongue-in-cheek dark humor kind of experience. Some people find it hilarious, it's got some good real world references in it and some funny moments-- if you don't have a problem with potentially, for instance, lighting people on fire and hearing their pained screams, even down to if they survive it and they crawl on the ground crying for help... then it's an all right game, probably pretty good if you stop yourself short of doing really really sadistic things just on the principal that you CAN. It's usually $9.99 on Steam, and considering that the dev has largely still supported the game, I'd say maybe
That's pretty brutal. Just like the freedom thanks to anonymity in 4 chan, which leads to the most disturbing stuff ever. Or the freedom to do stuff in most open world games. Freedom to do stuff can lead to insanity though. Having no borders is scary, but more to oneself.
White Night. It gave me the very similar feeling that Amnesia did. Hope you'll have a chance to cover it sometime soon. Absolutely great, especially with the haunted mansion and audio-visuals. Also, Daylight was pretty nice, yet, I feel, underestimated because of the similarity (slight) of gameplay with the shitty slender games. The sound design and visuals in this were amazing.
I've always known it as both. So many people know it one way or another and I don't quite get it. They're like "Well here in the U.K. it's..." and so on. What is odd that people claiming to live here in the U.K. have heard it to mean either one but not the other.
It was late at the time, I got to the Haunted Ship in Okami and the Cutters house when I first played it. The music along with the art genuinely unsettled me when I 1st played it
2:05 OH ME. OH ME ME ME ME Oh my gosh, as a kid I was totally scared of this game. I always felt like somebody was right behind me while I played, especially with the lack of music and seeing the creepy book FMVs. (I was also a wimpy little kid, but hey)
+GenerallyBananas You kill Vaas, and then stuff happens. And the endings pretty sick. I recommend atleast watching a letsplay of it if you can't play it. Its prettty sweet. EDIT: There's two endings.
I think saying "under my skin" means that it sticks around for a while. Making skin crawl is more like gross things, things that make you think that there are bugs or something. Under your skin means it's still there, it seeped into your realization.
Lone Survivor is a great game, i'd almost call it art even though it's clearly not what Jasper Byrne was aiming for Also that soundtrack is beyond great Nice mohawk btw, reminds me of someone
There is only one game that really, TRULY got under people's skin. And that is the first Mario Party. And if you are now smiling, you know what I'm talking about.
Portal 2, while probably my favorite video game, is really creepy to me. I've never been so amused and spooked at the same time. You are being forced to solve puzzles for a being you have no power to fight. Everything you do is being watched by someone who hates you. Glados can kill you at any moment if she likes. Then you go to the bottom of the facility where everything is rotting and falling apart. This and you get to listen to the recordings of a man who is slowly going insane.
Not to mention the underlying fact that it's been 700 years, you see overgrowth everywhere you turn, and all you can think of is whether or not you're the only one left alive in the entire world.
Oddworld personally really got under my skin a ton. Creepy bloody environment and all that. 999 and danganronpa are 2 others just for how dark and brutal the stories were. Both games pull no punches with mature themes with a gripping story that keep you attached to the end and they really got under my skin
iota-09 Nintendo's only real fuck up thus far is their youtube copyright bullshit. In terms of actual games and the game industry they're doing pretty well.
Gregory Horror Show was a manga, turned into a TV show with four seasons and an upcoming reboot I believe, and Gregory Horror Show: Soul Collector is a PS2 game based on the TV show. I think that Soul Collector was only released in Europe and Japan.
+Daniel “Hero's Apprentice” Scharn I'm 34 and nothing shakes me. I had a nightmare about the librarian. First and only time for something from a movie/game/book, etc.
+SirknightDevoir Why didn't you put a Spook Warning on your comment before talking about Spooky Scary Skeletons? I've been Spooked Solid now because of you!
Top two for me would be P.T and suprisingly Gone Home. The atmosphere of the house combined with the weather and a story that kept you guessing really got to me!
Afraid of Monsters and Cry of Fear, the fact the its always pitch black, and you have limited flashlight, not to mention the enemies move insanely fast towards you and make the most disturbing noises. Seriously, the most unnerving games i've played, and they're mods for fucking half life 1.
+Predator459 I loved the atmosphere in Afraid of Monsters, especially in the hospital before the escape to outside. The game at that point is still depending on the environment to panic the player and does so splendidly.
mathphysicsnerd I love how, if you don't notice the gun before turning off the power, you're screwed. xD The game didn't hesitate to screw you over... or was just badly designed and became an excuse for fear. ~shrug~ Joking. :)
mathphysicsnerd Yep. I've watched playthroughs of it where the player got frustrated as hell due to unfair checkpoints, lack of ammo, etc. But early on you were afraid of these things before becoming jaded and frustrated. :o But the game just came at you from the dark like that.
My game for this is The Forest. Whenever I play it I get this constant feeling of being watched while playing it, which makes the Tribals attacks much scarier. They observe you, and base their attack strategy on your defenses and the holes within. It's a damn scary experience
Halo ce because of the mission where you discover the flood . The buildup is just perfect . Batman arkham asylum also got under my skin because of it's atmosphere and the scarecrow parts.
binding of Issac(both), just a all around creepy games and 2 that definitely get under my skin. I always play it during this time of year. and p.s. Caddi if you read this i would love to see you talk about this game
The thing about Myst is that you feel truly alone. The atmosphere is solitary and even finding the pages does nothing to break it since you feel disconected from the characters, as if they where in another time or something. No other game gets that feel because there is always other characters, be it enemies or friends.
I love the list, and yet, I am cranky, ever so slightly. The intro got me all eager to see some new games to try ,and sadly, I've played every one on the list. That tiny, petty, personal grump aside, this was a great video.
I think it looks fine. It's better than that weird thing where people shave off the sides of their heads, and leave a pile of fluff on top. That one looks so stupid.
Stout Shako aye lad, it's hard to be bloody scottish cyclope, who gets scared of damn horror games. But to be honest that's why people play them, to get that adrenaline rush and the feeling of being on edge all the time
Tomb Raider I is definately my No.1 pick. To quote 2013 Caddy: _"Does this game have a soundtrack? Yes it does, but only when it needs it. The lack of a constant underlying score makes the game more involving with the player. Combine that with the ever present foreboding darkness in the distance and you get one HELL of a sweet atmosphere, and sometimes even damn creepy."_ That game had such an influence on my childhood. Especially the Atlantis levels, where (and i don't know if this is actually in the game or was just my PS1) sometimes, a short low buzz can be heared, breaking the silence. That noise really got under my skin, especially when playing in the dead of the night.
I know it's not very popular but SH: Shattered Memories. Yes it has not only a empty town but a empty town with not monsters to chase you down (until the cutscenes or aka ice world), or even anyone else really. It's gives you the feeling of trying to piece together what happened. The cabin part still give me the chills with the soundtrack to this day.
Bioshock got the most under my skin (first time i've played it). The eerie atmosphere, the feeling something could attack you any moment, your first encounter with a splicer when you're still in the batisphere. :D
Boom? 06? 3D Blast? Now let's talk about the good ones: SONIC 1, 2, 3, SnK, SONIC Spinball, Sonic Adventure 1, 2, StH, Heroes, Unleashed, Black Knight, Riders, Riders ZG, Colors, Lost World, Generations. Sure there's a couple bad SONIC games, but internet personalities and blind fuckwits give the blue blur a bad wrap.
+Riitje yeh I can still remember that fucking bloodbath in one of the bathrooms and don't get me started on the fucking kids room...fuck that level...just fuck it
What actually got under my skin in Lone Survivor is, that whenever you hit the map key, the dude says "Who needs maps?" making the map you have completely useless, since he just won't look at it.
Please don't hate me for this, Undertale definitely got under my skin. This is especially so when you reach the end of the pacifist route and Flowey becomes a disturbing photoshop monster and gains control over your save files. The sense of not being able to control anything that's going on if very eerie to me. And even after that some more disturbing and messed up stuff happened that makes you question a lot of things about the whole game.
The game Braid really got under my skin. It's generally innocent for a good portion of the game, but gets deeper as you go on. You can only find the true meaning to the story with background knowledge and completing the side puzzle. The themes to it are definitely haunting. The game also has to do with time travel, making you constantly rewind the gameplay, giving the music an eerie effect.
Legend Of Grimrock... that game isn't scary at all but the atmosphere is so amazing and you never know what creature is lurking around the corner. The game is an absolute treasure
My step-daughter once handed me a save file in Don't Starve. She had survived to day 60+, built a shelter that was well protected and took care of every need and claimed I should not worry as it would be impossible for me to die. Seconds later I was dead. Beat that, Caddy!
The Splatterhouse game series, and Kid Chameleon. The games felt more action packed, but the game concepts and enemies got under my skin the deeper into the game I got.
+Shockwave I felt SOMA produced more of a philosophical query, a mental conundrum, more than horror. Granted, it was scary at some parts, especially when you are avoiding the WAU creatures in the deep dark abyss, but I was much more interested in the trans humanist aspect of it.
Shockwave Precisely. SOMA was akin to looking through a microscope at never before discovered specimens that shouldn't exist biologically. You are intrigued most of the time, but every so often you find a specimen that looks exactly like your naked grandmother. You then flee in terror.
+Shockwave SOMA was scary until you realized that there was no point in trying to evade the monsters because you're already dead and letting the disgusting excuse for existence you're in get destroyed would be the best possible thing to do. Then you have no reason to not run up to the monsters and let them eradicate you instead of trying to move forward - hell, you WANT the monsters to kill you, it'd be better than continuing.
I think the games that got under my skin the most would have to be Dead space, Outlast, and Batman Arkham Asylum. The idea of being alone in a large yet confined area with multiple things that want to kill you in horrible ways is just spine tingling to me, even when the character you're playing is clearly stronger then them.
Same! I can't stop seeing it. Each time I look at the game, I get scared of his freaky big white smile, not the monsters. I get that it's supposed to be a face mask, but I can't stop seeing it as a really wide smile.
I think it's called Call Of Cthulhu after the tabletop RPG of the same name - there was apparently an Innsmouth-themed campaign in the game that served as a basis for Dark Corners of the Earth, so it makes a lot more sense if you think of it like that.
I couldn't play P.T. , even on my vita on remote play. At one point the answering machine, during the random rambling, whispers: "look behind you!" I noped right the hell out of there and never looked back
(Contains major spoilers for Gone Home) A game that really got me unnerved - not mentioning that I am a nervous wimp and anything can get under my skin - was Gone Home. It really isn't a horror game, and it's a beautiful story about hope, but you don't know that for sure until the ending. Even though nothing scary happens (ignoring the one jumpscare, but I didn't get that when I played it), the game really plays you, with mood and subtle hints, making you believe that Sam has killed herself. I was terrified of walking into the attic, because I expected to find her, hanged or something. Which makes the relief so much better when you get the ending.
Bioshock. When you're in an empty room, nobody around, you looking around the stuff, you realize how creepy it truly is.
+spencer davis The game had creepy moments that went unexplained. Not just the ghost images (which were memory imprints from reused ADAM you use), but you'd witness things occasionally which were just... eerie, weird, strange... And then move on.
+spencer davis Agreed. When I was younger, and my dad bought Bioshock, I tried playing it because my dad was playing it so much, and I'm a little copycat :P

Shadow phoenix One time, a grenader splicer shot a grenade under a passing Little Sister and somehow managed to ragdoll her up against the ceiling. I thought the physics somehow managed to kill her, but she got up after like 10 seconds...
+spencer davis Play it on hard with the brightness turned dawn a little lower than told.
+spencer davis I know right, what also makes it even more creepier is the story that goes along with the atmosphere, hell even some of the audio logs even add a bit more depth to it,it's a well crafted game
Wii sports got under my skin. The foreshadow of eternal dismay and undertone of sorrow and death behind every corner gets me everything I go bowling.
I get that from GTA 4 too as it happens.
i swear to god his slightly offset mowhawk is designed to drive me nuts
MEH OCD
Are you saying it *gets under your skin?*
I didn't even notice until you mentioned it
Goddamit
well shit.
+SpookZe Dood, cool it you might spook someone.
Great stuff dude, can't believe I haven't watched you earlier!
wow. Three years old? I can't believe no one commented on Indeimaus on a Caddicarus video lol

ValHasNoChill and going in caves and hearing noises omg Minecraft is the scariest game I’ve ever played. I’m not even joking
There are villagers, so you are not the only person.
Elmerturnipseed they’re not even people. They’re their own species
Cave sounds still spook me now.
I still remember the first time I hit a Ghast at 3am

+Carl von Linné i think it is, I mean it's in googles "best video games ever" list and its 10 bucks on steam
That's pretty brutal. Just like the freedom thanks to anonymity in 4 chan, which leads to the most disturbing stuff ever. Or the freedom to do stuff in most open world games.
Freedom to do stuff can lead to insanity though. Having no borders is scary, but more to oneself.
and it had a dlc as long as the core game almost fifteen years later.
Ever heard of naughty bear?
"Konami is Konami, and Konami is the worst"
#FucKonami
+TheTobiFiles Second-worst.... after Digital Homicide of course :D
Perhaps on par with Square Enix and it's potluck of problems with DQ alone
"Konami is Konami and Konami doesn't know how to business."

I think undertale is okay but the one thing that got under my skin was in Alphys' lab on your way to the true ending. It was freaky as hell IMO
+dot jar games the flower’s gone.
+dot jar games

Honestly, for me, any game that I play too late at night gets under my skin.
Same, I'm playing Dark Souls 3 and it is. I'm not even in a creepy area, just on the route to the Princes XD
It was late at the time, I got to the Haunted Ship in Okami and the Cutters house when I first played it. The music along with the art genuinely unsettled me when I 1st played it
Oh really? Like Animal Crossing? Even if you stay up just to catch all of the benthic sea- yeah okay I see what you mean.
2:05 OH ME. OH ME ME ME ME
Oh my gosh, as a kid I was totally scared of this game. I always felt like somebody was right behind me while I played, especially with the lack of music and seeing the creepy book FMVs.
(I was also a wimpy little kid, but hey)
Caddy looks like the main villain from Far Cry 3 xD
+GenerallyBananas Sad thing is Vaas isn't even the main villain he is a secondary antagonist at most
He isn't? I never made it past the tutorial since it keeps F*CKING CRASHING!!
GenerallyBananas Yeah if you want I can spoil it a little bit but only if you don't mind
I'm not too bothered about game spoilers. It's anime/movie/tv show spoilers that annoy me so go ahead if you like
+GenerallyBananas You kill Vaas, and then stuff happens. And the endings pretty sick. I recommend atleast watching a letsplay of it if you can't play it. Its prettty sweet. EDIT: There's two endings.

Also that soundtrack is beyond great
Nice mohawk btw, reminds me of someone
Joke's on your Caddy. I'm not wearing any britches.
Edit: If Fatal Frame 2 didn't get under your skin, you didn't play Fatal Frame 2.
***** Why are none of you Eva pilots remotely sane?

I can vouch for this.

There is only one game that really, TRULY got under people's skin. And that is the first Mario Party. And if you are now smiling, you know what I'm talking about.
oh god no im gonna puke from just imagining it
I don't get it
+Victor Mercado that game burnt holes in people's hands so it literally "got under their skin"
The ghost guess game legit scared me when you lost.
Okami is life :3
Portal 2, while probably my favorite video game, is really creepy to me. I've never been so amused and spooked at the same time. You are being forced to solve puzzles for a being you have no power to fight. Everything you do is being watched by someone who hates you. Glados can kill you at any moment if she likes. Then you go to the bottom of the facility where everything is rotting and falling apart. This and you get to listen to the recordings of a man who is slowly going insane.
gum ball good point
I still haven't worked up the courage to go into any of the Rattman dens.
Not to mention the underlying fact that it's been 700 years, you see overgrowth everywhere you turn, and all you can think of is whether or not you're the only one left alive in the entire world.
Michelle Lehto That's too deep for me to be spooky
The original was impossibly good at making me feel alone.
Oddworld personally really got under my skin a ton. Creepy bloody environment and all that.
999 and danganronpa are 2 others just for how dark and brutal the stories were. Both games pull no punches with mature themes with a gripping story that keep you attached to the end and they really got under my skin
I didn't even know Caddy made a video on my birthday, so Happy freakin' birthday to me? XD

Doesn't "get under my skin" mean annoy you
that's what i thought
+Bilbo baggins More like "makes you uncomfortable", though I suppose it could also be used to mean "annoying".
It means both
That's what I thought too but I was just gonna believe the brit here
It's kinda to irritate or stimulate, provoke maybe...
To affect someone very strongly in a way that is difficult to forget... That sort of thing.
14:58 It's actually #FucKonami
+SpatsirkSpart .....did he just reference Jim Sterling?

+SpatsirkSpart so let's see, first was activision, then EA; now konami... will ubisoft be the next one? maybe nintendo? microsoft?
+Belal Ebrahim That's Jim Fucking Sterling, Son, to you.

For some reason I suspected Gregory Horror Show to be on this list.. That game was spoopy.
+LasseMedHatten 3spoopy5you?
I miss cloud Strifes videos now... I forgot what he changed his name into...
+LasseMedHatten That was a TV show, not a game though.
MisterSparkly It was indeed a PlayStation 2 game also though. Coming from Europe I had no idea that it was also a TV show actually
Gregory Horror Show was a manga, turned into a TV show with four seasons and an upcoming reboot I believe, and Gregory Horror Show: Soul Collector is a PS2 game based on the TV show. I think that Soul Collector was only released in Europe and Japan.

felix mendelssohn you obviously are.
felix mendelssohn what a sad attempt at trolling.

Skyrim got under my skin the same as FO3 got by you, especially the Dwemer ruins, I loathed those.
Blackreach is what did it for me, also that bleak ass lighthouse sidequest
+scuzzlebutt I hated every second of being in Blackreach, I wanted to die and almost up and quit the game right there.

Loved the Hellfire tunnels as a backdrop to the video! That's a level of presentation you don't normally see on TH-cam.
Love the documentary presentation.
+Stelios78910
Holy Shit he watches Caddy
Hello there, of course I do. We have to - we're British. :P
Stelios78910 They should make that a law.
Damn I went to Parliament last Monday, you should've told me before then!
Afraid of Monsters and Cry of Fear, the fact the its always pitch black, and you have limited flashlight, not to mention the enemies move insanely fast towards you and make the most disturbing noises. Seriously, the most unnerving games i've played, and they're mods for fucking half life 1.

mathphysicsnerd I love how, if you don't notice the gun before turning off the power, you're screwed. xD The game didn't hesitate to screw you over... or was just badly designed and became an excuse for fear. ~shrug~ Joking. :)
MegaScience Intentional or not, it was a part of what made the game fun.
mathphysicsnerd Yep. I've watched playthroughs of it where the player got frustrated as hell due to unfair checkpoints, lack of ammo, etc. But early on you were afraid of these things before becoming jaded and frustrated. :o But the game just came at you from the dark like that.
fuck cry of fear
What gets under my skin?
Wand of Gamelon.
Faces of Evil.
Good one
Welcome back Caddy! Hope you enjoyed your break~
Are we not going to talk about how Caddy went to THE actual Hellfire Club caves? Like quite a few ghost hunters have.
playing fallout with the radio always on changes that effect dramaticly. until you go to that place with the hallucinations though
point lookout?
Crisis Einstein nope, dunwich building
CommaKaiZ dunwich borers, mine in the north east of the commonwealth in fallout 4
that PT jumpscare got me so bad
Bloodborne was very unsettling to me. Mergo's Wet Nurse (although easy) just the lullaby really got to me.
The Lecture Building and Yahar'gul really did it for me. The Chalice Dungeons were also really unsettling.
May I recommend "our darker purpose"
It has similar gameplay, however it has a gothic art style, it's harder, and the writing is much darker.
crawling in my crawl
these crawls they will not crawl
crawl is how I crawl
crawling what is crawl
THEY PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE
The thing about Myst is that you feel truly alone. The atmosphere is solitary and even finding the pages does nothing to break it since you feel disconected from the characters, as if they where in another time or something. No other game gets that feel because there is always other characters, be it enemies or friends.
I love the list, and yet, I am cranky, ever so slightly. The intro got me all eager to see some new games to try ,and sadly, I've played every one on the list. That tiny, petty, personal grump aside, this was a great video.
got under my skin?
fallout 3&New Vegas
Skyrim
Oblivion
and Mining in Minecraft for hours on end, deep in a cave with creepers around every corner
Skyrim? why?
+Hamzah Sajjad You've never experienced the terror from those dragon beasts that could attack you anytime while having a very low level?
+ThePeterH1 ahh I play as a bosmer with VERY high stamina, so I would always just run when a dragon turned up when I was a low level
+ThePeterH1 also tbh dragons never scared me, FUCKING FROSTBITE SPIDERS, on the other hand...
+Hamzah Sajjad you see when you play there are sometimes where things jumps at you which for me was scary
Caddy.
Pls sthap with the hair.
You're scaring me.
Ikr, it doesn't suit him
+⁇ Xenith ⁇ Maybe its for the spooky theme of the month.
I think it looks fine. It's better than that weird thing where people shave off the sides of their heads, and leave a pile of fluff on top. That one looks so stupid.
Is it me or is the hair...
Slightly off? Like, not in the middle...
Ohhh, here comes the OCD.
+Travis Lacy Yeah that would look stupid, oh, wait a second...
Ao Oni fucked me up. I tried playing it when I was 18. I'm 23 now, and still haven't finished it. Fuck that game, like, for real.
wasn't it the horror game woth thise big headed monsters that looked like easter islands statues?
aleksi häkli Yes, and it made me punch my computer once. You'd think the janky 16 bit graphics would make it less scary but uh... incorrect.
Combine that with the ever present foreboding darkness in the distance and you get one HELL of a sweet atmosphere, and sometimes even damn creepy."_
That game had such an influence on my childhood.
Yay it's actually my birthday, thanks for the birthday wishes caddy! I wish I could crawl under your skin... literally ;D
happy birthday
thanks!
+Kraids Vault happy birthday n.n
ty ;)
+Kraids Vault How is nobody disturbed by the fact you want to actually crawl under his skin Xd
Btw, hapy bday :P
Games that got under my skin? Metroid Fusion. I think we all know why.
But seriously, fuck SA-X.
oh. Amnesia got under your skin? My dear caddy, have you ever played scp containment breach?
Bioshock got the most under my skin (first time i've played it). The eerie atmosphere, the feeling something could attack you any moment, your first encounter with a splicer when you're still in the batisphere. :D
Thanks for wishing me a happy birthday, Cad. For the first time watching your videos, it actually is this time.
Sonic adventure 2 when professor Gerald's death sentence speech is being played on the big screen. Gives me dem heebee geebees
it's bad fmv too :/
oh god yeah i know that creepy girls face :S
+DR SATURN Yeah and when you finish the Hero & Dark Stories and you get that creepy preview for the 'final' chapter.
Exactly sa2 is riddled with those types of things.
Boom? 06?
Timesplitters Future Perfect Mansion of Madness level.
+Riitje Timesplitters 2 Notre Dame level
+Daniel Forth I was personally more unnerved by the exploding mutants in the Dam level.
+Riitje yeh I can still remember that fucking bloodbath in one of the bathrooms and don't get me started on the fucking kids room...fuck that level...just fuck it
Proud2game
I loved the little Tremors reference.
Scariest part of this video: Caddy's mohawk.
What actually got under my skin in Lone Survivor is, that whenever you hit the map key, the dude says "Who needs maps?" making the map you have completely useless, since he just won't look at it.
Playing through the first Corpse Party game left me feeling pretty emotionally drained, I think that would be my #1 here
Please don't hate me for this, Undertale definitely got under my skin.
+PurpleShield Gaming
Well, it is *your* experience and that's totally fine.
+Dawn Wayfinder Thank you
I know that this is an older comment, but I want to say the the first time I encountered Endogeny messed me up.
I mean, I love undertale, the fandom is shit, but the game is amazing
And his fucking laugh
when will you make a video of MGS4 you promised it in one of your videos
+Raimond Russi when MGS makes sense
+Hawkeye Gough I guess that's never happening
+Hawkeye Gough And when MGS 4 is good.
***** But isn't MGS4 already a good game?
SpatsirkSpart Hahaha, no.
What I was thinking this whole time:
I've got you, under my skin...
Blade Singer yeah, and I thought of the muppets skit
The game Braid really got under my skin. It's generally innocent for a good portion of the game, but gets deeper as you go on. You can only find the true meaning to the story with background knowledge and completing the side puzzle. The themes to it are definitely haunting. The game also has to do with time travel, making you constantly rewind the gameplay, giving the music an eerie effect.
Legend Of Grimrock... that game isn't scary at all but the atmosphere is so amazing and you never know what creature is lurking around the corner. The game is an absolute treasure
13:01 They played us like a damn fiddle!!
Someone go and find that pebble Caddy threw on the floor...
13:50 fucking killed me. That voice...
Half life 2's ravenholm. When i played the game, i knew nothing about half life and was new to FPS games. I was quite unprepared for the chapter
Bioshock and fallout gave me the heebie jeebies :O
@ LarsTheGoof
I like your lsd colored cat icon. Did you draw it yourself?
You played SOMA yet? That game was really scary.
+Shockwave
I felt SOMA produced more of a philosophical query, a mental conundrum, more than horror. Granted, it was scary at some parts, especially when you are avoiding the WAU creatures in the deep dark abyss, but I was much more interested in the trans humanist aspect of it.
Mason Hatcher I agree that most of the time I was more intrigued than scared, but whenever the monsters came, I was close to crapping my pants.
Shockwave
Precisely.
Alastair Hadlow
I could not have said it better myself good sir.
If Caddy is wearing track pants and slippers then he could be classified as a Sans cosplayer
I think the games that got under my skin the most would have to be Dead space, Outlast, and Batman Arkham Asylum. The idea of being alone in a large yet confined area with multiple things that want to kill you in horrible ways is just spine tingling to me, even when the character you're playing is clearly stronger then them.
Who else thought the guy in lone survivor was constantly smiling
Same! I can't stop seeing it. Each time I look at the game, I get scared of his freaky big white smile, not the monsters. I get that it's supposed to be a face mask, but I can't stop seeing it as a really wide smile.
heroin simulator got under my skin
at least I think it was a simulator
+Brandon Roberts so manhunt was based on real events you learn something new everyday
+Adrian .C Okay...despite how stupid that was...it gave me a good giggle
Classic Minecraft. You're all alone, every other human is a zombie and you NEVER feel safe.
These Top 10/20 videos just keep getting better and better. Make more pretty please.
Firewatch really got under my skin, because of the quiet atmosphere, the feeling of vulnerability throughout the game, and the fear of the unknown.
Want some real horror??? Animal Soccer world.... From Phoenix Games, you know... your favourite developer ;)
so, it's called Call of Cthulhu but it's based on Shadow Over Innsmouth?
weird
I think it's called Call Of Cthulhu after the tabletop RPG of the same name - there was apparently an Innsmouth-themed campaign in the game that served as a basis for Dark Corners of the Earth, so it makes a lot more sense if you think of it like that.
Caddi looks like vaas
I like the new hairstyle cads.
Did i ever tell you the definition...... Of insane hairstyles?
Pretty spooky name you got there.
Soon he'll say "did I ever tell you the definition of insanity"
+legofreak446 I see you everywhere
I couldn't play P.T. , even on my vita on remote play. At one point the answering machine, during the random rambling, whispers: "look behind you!" I noped right the hell out of there and never looked back
(Contains major spoilers for Gone Home)
A game that really got me unnerved - not mentioning that I am a nervous wimp and anything can get under my skin - was Gone Home.
Couldn't make it past 1:47. WAY too sp00ky.
WTF happened to his head. I looks like a vindictive hair cut wizard got mad at him.
+ElementalrxKX He wears whatever the fuck he wants
+TheSpyChecker Nobody said he couldn't have that hair cut, it just sucks. : )
+AnimeChibiGuy *rocks
His hair rocks.
LISA. LISA is horrifying
Perfect video, love the "Under my skin" Topic, really original :) amazing
I legit forgot that Caddy says happy birthday at the end of his vids!! thanks for the b-day wishes Caddy.
