    I had the pleasure of meeting Joel and he is a true professional and a gentleman. It comes as no surprise to me that he took care of you and in a timely fashion. Thanks for sharing.

      I had no doubt he would take care of it and I hold the same opinion of him, but the speed and the extent to which he did was what is remarkable. Everything you have said of him is true. A real man of integrity.

    This video is one reason why I’ll be purchasing a Terminus action. It’s great to see an action company that takes care of its customers and will respond quickly… it’s nice if they just answer a phone once in a while or at all.
    Now we just need Joel and his company in Texas!!

    Going to pick up my Zeus action from the FFL today. Still have 7 or so weeks of a wait on my Bughole barrel for it. Can't wait. Thanks for posting this video. Sucks it happened but hearing how well Terminus took care of you is heartening. Keep up the good content!

      He deserves us showing him appreciation. Same here I sent him a message he replied quickly by phone himself. I put my order in and he updated me via message . To my surprise with I photo of my package with postage to my FFL . Any better than that it would be wrong. How is the action been treating you? Round count?

    Can you provide any input on the bolt lift? I know that the roller made it lift smother than other 3 lug actions. But how light is it compared to the higher end 2 lug actions?

    • @andrewroberson724
      @andrewroberson724  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bryon, thanks for watching and asking. It is a little more stiff. However, I have not noticed it affecting how I perform if that matters. I need to get a weight gage and compare to an impact soon. Great question and I hope this helps.

      @@andrewroberson724 I was wondering if you don't mind helping me out with a similar question....I just got my Zeus in. Upon closing of bolt it sucks down with very little effort. Is this the roller cam at work? On my old Bergara its more of a smooth transition into closing of the bolt and the Zeus seems more violent/mechanical...Lastly, the bolt lift takes some good effort. I have to grip it good in order to have enough force to open with index/thumb. Not an easy lift by any means.... Is this standard or similar to your experience? I am new to custom actions and don't really have anything else to compare to other than a couple OEM rifles I have shot and my buddies defiance action. I am assuming my action should smooth out after some wear?

    by any chance do you know how headspace works with the QC barrels or should all barrels be properly headspaced automatically because i want to buy one and use 308 and 300 wm so what would i need to do?

    • @andrewroberson724
      @andrewroberson724  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If I remember correctly, the actions hold a thou +/- for prefits. That being said, the gunsmith must follow the print precisely within that tolerance requirement. I went with Southern Precision Rifles aka Bugholes.com for my prefit and it is done very well, I believe Joel has also recommended the Proof prefit barrels due to their quality control and ability to follow the print. Im sure there are others who do well, but I only know of these two for sure. I also recommend a Forster brand go/no go gauge set for the caliber to be sure, although it wasn't really needed with the SPR barrel. I hope that answers your question, but if not, feel free to ask more, and thanks for watching!

      @Sinko Sinkovski great question! The Zeus is a Remington 700 clone footprint, you would select that and either long or short action depending on which Zeus model you have. Let me know if you have any other questions about it.
