The Bills victory was much more decisive than the box score showed. They started slow yes, but the Card’s were gifted a TD through a phantom RTP call, a TD from Allen was taken off the board, and there was a ST flub with the new rules and wind affecting it. The Bills dominated from about halfway through the second quarter until the end of the game
I tend to agree. Over the first 28 minutes, JA attempted 2 passes and they were down 17 - 3. They outscored the Cards 31 - 11 the next 32 minutes (and that was with the KR).
A lot of ifs, ands, and buts. It’s football stuff happens.
As a Bills fan, I disagree. I think the Cards are a LOT better than people think. The Bills had no answers to a Kyler Murray scramble. I'm pretty sure the only reason we won the game is because Kyler Murray got tired.
That being said, Tua has zero run game. Iirc, most of Miami's RBs are injured. That means all Buffalo needs to do is contain their WRs and we should win this easy.

Allen is going to play like Allen. There's nothing anyone can do about it.
I think Josh goes into this mentality when he feels like he has to win the game. In his biggest games he doesn't turn the ball over and he runs for TDs. Is there a risk of getting injured? Yeah of course but that's every position. Tua has been injured more than Josh and he's a pocket passer.
Yeah but Tua took some bad shots when he did get hurt. Josh is a big boy, but the more he runs the ball he's just exposing himself to getting hit and increases chances of injury. Despite history Allen has a higher chance of injury than Tua. Plus it's a cumulative effect. Cam Newton was a big guy like Josh and was doing exactly what Josh is doing. Running around, running guys over and never getting hurt. Then he got hurt and he was never really the same. Josh is supremely athletic. I watched him at Wyoming because I live 30 minutes away from Laramie where he played. He's fun to watch, but as a coach, management I'd prefer it if he didn't run as much. Early in game slide, run out of bounds. Late in game 3rd and 7 and you need it then run. Be more selective is all he needs to do. Lowering shoulders on defenders early in games is reckless

There will be no tougher game than what they just endured. In fact I have a theory of why the defense failed. They prepared for (including blocking schemes) McCaffery and got a completely different scheme. If anybody failed it was the DC to adjust, but I don't think any of them had a CLUE what SF was doing in the zone blocking schemes they rolled out. That would have killed any defense, me thinks. They did not tackle well either, but I think that was because they were constantly out of position. That was their worst game so it has to get better.

Its crazy, the Jets lost to the defending NFC champs, and the defense looked terrible with none of the starters playing a single pre-season snap, the sky is falling. Lets revisit this in a few weeks and see how everyone is doing.

The Bills were moving the ball with ease on Arizona with the pass and run. Had some penalties that called back a TD early. was up 10 when they let a kick return for a TD. Acting like the Bills struggled is a bad take. They have some things to work on but the first game without Diggs they put up 30+ points. Defense got some work in getting stops and getting off the field but had some bright spots with Greg Roussou

Josh Allen was unstoppable in the second half of the Cardinals game. The Cardinals offense is good, they held them under 300 yards, and 8 points were off a new style kickoff. Buffalo look awesome last week.

Sacks: 1 injury every 75.1 plays (52 total injuries on 3,903 for a 1.3% injury rate)
Scrambles: 1 injury every 106.7 plays (23 total injuries on 2,455 plays for a 0.9% injury rate)
Designed runs: 1 injury for every 174.2 plays (11 total injuries on 1,916 plays for an 0.6% injury rate)
FYI BUF was winning when he did his "Superman". It wasn't necessary to win. BUF was already winning.
And as illustrated above, QBS get way more injured in the pocket than running.

It's absolutely a game Miami needs to win. On paper Miami should win this game, But that is just a sheet of paper which means nothing. The problem is the last 3 years Buffalo and Baltimore they have racked up over 4-500 yards against Miami's defense every year for the last 3 years. Counting the comeback against Baltimore which was so beautiful to watch. I don't think it's a must-win game for either team but more for Miami considering it's at home.
