For those wanting the house details, I looked them up.
5 bed / 7.5 bath / 10,757 sqft. Sitting on a 40 acre lot. Has well water and septic.
It was listed for 3.1M at the time of this video in 2018. Looks like they had it on the market for about a year and reduced the price to 3M in 2019. House was removed from MLS at the end of 2019. Doesn't look like it ever sold unless they did a cash deal, which is possible with the craziness that happened to the Boise housing market in 2020 and there were a lot of cash buyers.

Whatever you do........ Don't plant any trees into the surrounding landscape. So it can look like a single family estate.
Leave it bare. So it could be mistaken for an old folks home, or rehab facility or an oddly placed triplex in the hills.

@@RJT11 Because "people from California" did such a magnificent job with California. People who create sh*tholes should be forced to stay there.

Many retired California police officers refer to a favorite retirement area for them as My Blue Heaven. That is specifically in northern Idaho in the area around Couer de Alene and Sandpoint which both boast beautiful lakes and mountains. Unfortunately higher temps and drought have the side effect of more wild fires.

Everyone complaining about the lack of trees, meanwhile I'm over here going "did she just open a bottle of white wine straight from the "cellar" without chilling it?" And then those kids sat down on leather furniture in wet swimming clothes?!?!

Beautiful house but honestly it’s way too much. Unless I had 10 kids there’s no reason anyone needs this much house. I would much rather have a small simple comfortable ranch home on a property like this with a barn and some animals. Living here is asking for unwanted attention.
