You might want to look into the different types of fiber. There are actually a lot of different types (there’s mucilin, cellulose, soluble, insoluble and much more more) ;) Some people do ok with certain types and not others. Another thing to consider if no fibers are acceptable is the possibility of SIBO. SIBO patients typically don’t do well with any fiber because it ferments in the SI instead of the LI because of the bacterial presence in the SI that doesn’t “belong” there. Just a few things to consider!
Kristen Blake Wellness I actually did not know that about SIBO. I was diagnosed with SIBO back in 2018. My holistic doctor was out of the office with her partner was the one who finally figured out what issues I had after several years. She told me to do keto only after 2 rounds of the strongest antibiotics didn’t help. The first six months of keto was good but then I realized I was eating too much fiber for weight loss to occur so once I stopped eating so much vegetables the weight totally came off and my gut was fine. I came to the conclusion because of how many people I knew that were vegan and vegetarian who had colon cancer and I did research discovering how many anti-nutrients are in vegetables and fiber is non essential for health. I was the person that always had a 25g of fiber a day for at least 17 years and now I try not to never eat more than 5g in a day if I eat plants. I have also learned that fiber causes gas and gas really hurts my sleep so I avoid fiber so I can get better sleep.

I agree with all of this except for the fiber. I totally have noticed fiber ruins me and I do much better without it at all.
