J.Cole's pen wasn't sharp enough to come up with a more creative and TRUTHFUL way to respond to Kendrick. . .
Therefore this is just as much of an indictment on his skill set as it is on his DESIRE to engage in a "disrespectful & unnecessary" rap battle.
Also, this whole violence in Hip Hop narrative that people are running wit is beyond delusional!!!
You've got to be doing some CraZy MENTAL GYMNASTICS and projection to associate Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole with violence... LoL

@rock_lee_girl He doesn't make interesting albums is the biggest problem

It was, I honestly feel like yall are straight hating or just willfully being ignorant.. he answer from pressure!
Listen to the track and then listen to him on everything else, it didn’t give any energy, no real jabs because he complimented him on the tracks right after

@@khiddace I thought his response was good, but it was full of fabricated bars.
Cole should be creative and intelligent enough to come up with a more thoughtful response than he did. He exposed himself is all I'm saying.

@@dually81 that’s why he apologize I feel, none of the bars were genuine. I felt rushed with no energy behind the bars!
Like I’m ready 24 or Pi

I seen many videos about this topic and you guys are the first ones to mention Cole been throwing subs at Kendrick for a minute. I’m not on twitter so I didn’t see the posts about it

"Niggas fake-progressive and woke, I started sayin' less
I had to stop it, peeped how they profit off of racial stress
Some activists got so rich, they prolly wish we stay oppressed
Studio steppers movin' extra on songs, fakin' rep
Only breakin' bad in the lab, thought y'all was makin' meth
Niggas makin' threats and I laugh, that's 'cause you ain't a threat
Don't ask how I feel 'bout no rappers, shit, they okay, I guess"

Gotta protect your soul, even if the world thinks it’s some sucker shit. He def fumbled the situation though.

People keep conflating one for the other. He could have protected his soul without any of the sucker shit. He got caught lackin and he panicked.

@@sterigma555 100% in agreement. But once you fucked up once, doesnt mean you need to double down. If your heart tells you you did wrong, sometimes you just gotta eat shit and own up. He went halfway and then backed down, the worst possible public outcome. But if it eases his conscience some, good for him.

I see it being messy, if Kendrick is actually beefing with Drake.. why would you put yourself literally in the middle wanted to play fight?
