      Eh I didn't like them rapping over the same beat in the response. That got corny. Fab response was decent but it was a brilliant chess move. Peep he acknowledged his forefathers, sent subtle shot at his peers, but most the responses were from credible mcs who he didn't directly address. By using the same beat they just were adding on to the the hype of the wave. You can tell a lot of fans don't think kendrick lyrical skill is all that but imo it ain't matter. He used the moment to capitalize and build his fanbase and hype. How did it really help everyone else???? Hell even jay elect had a nice verse on the same record and his shit got ignored 😆. Y’all keeping saying it won’t get personal. How can you guarantee that? Rappers and music artists in general are some of the most emotional and prideful people you know. Grow up. Y'all won't be satisfied until we see another 2Pac or Biggie. Almost 30yrs later with the same mentality. Nothing was learned. This is why other genres are coming up and Hip-Hop sales are declining. We should be having big Hip-Hop tours that sell out like Pop star's concerts but we can't get out of our own way. Do we want to build together or destroy each other? We can't do both. Just because something has been done for years doesn't mean it's the right way. That's like saying slavery should still be a thing because that's how things were when America started. Not realizing Hip-Hop started out as a DJ and some turntables at a jam. The purpose of the jam was to bring the people in the community together not to alienate or divide. Cole will be ok because his fans are focused on building. That's why the Dreamville Festival has been massively successful. What other American rapper has his own festival and is as popular as Dreamville. Even 50 Cent wanted to perform there.

    • @dimendkai
      @dimendkai หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      what do you mean.. hip hop/rap has been the number one genre for awhile now, most tours sell like pop stars tours and have been.. nobody wants another tupac and biggie situation, but nobody wants anybody pump faking. also the pretentious songs about rapping about how good they’re rapping, while rapping, while name dropping and sending shots at other rappers is corny. nobody wants to check that out, just make good music with good themes and subject matter.

    • @TheeThunderGod
      @TheeThunderGod หลายเดือนก่อน

      Aint nobody in this beef nor their entourage will take it that far. These are BIG names with SMART shooters and entourage, not young dumb new rappers with little to lose. As far as hip hop dying, these current beefs of the REAL rappers is giving hip-hop a well needed shot in the heart right now and will increase sales of everyone involved as they're about to drop new albums. I agree with the tours but everything else u said is waaaaay off. This is a lyrical battle, nothing else. Someone MIGHT get punched in the face but aint nobody getting killed. These aint $5M niggaz we talkin' about, these niggaz ALL move different n smart. Rap started off this kinda shit, its competition. And Tupac didnt die from rap beef, he died from putting himself in gang politics by jumping a Crip gang member. Ur so outta tune with this comment cuzz.
