- In this video I teach my friend how to ride a motorcycle. The only two bikes I had available to me at the time was my 2014 Yamaha R1 and my 2011 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle. At the beginning he stalls a few times but is eventually able to get it.
I ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEARING GEAR and taking the MSF Course before hopping on a motorcycle.
The V-Rod Muscle is not the best beginner or starter bike.
Everybody should have a friend like you.

Thanks man I love it so far, I started riding again after selling my bike like 6 years ago. I dropped her the first 15 mins I was riding after stalling, I got it picked up but likely because of the adrenaline. I’m still shocked I got it back up

Bro I love the V Rod,alot of Harley enthusiastic don't believe it's not a true Harley because of the partnership with Porche but I don't care what they say I think it's the coolest bike ever.
I couldn't agree more! My bike is almost 10 years old and I still get people asking me about it at gas stations, restaurants, etc. Even some random Harley riders will stop and talk to me about it...thank you for watching 🤘🏾

My last Harley was a Super low 883 but I want a V Rod now.Those bikes are the best of both worlds.You get the comfortability of a cruiser and performance of a street bike And also they don't produce them anymore so ya there that much more valuable.

I wish I had recorded my buddy and I teaching our other two friends how to ride several years ago ahead of our trip to Vietnam where we proceeded to ride several hundred miles from North to South of the country. Those guys got about 1 hour of training on our bikes before attempting the Ho Chi Minh highway on their own. It was comical. You're a good man letting him ride your prized bike around with no riding experience. As strong as he looks, there's no chance he can catch that beast if it starts to go down.

Since i first saw one many years ago when they came out ( and i was a kid ) the VROD is my dream bike, last year one of my best friends got his motorcycle licence and bought a Honda Hornet 600, i love this bike, hers is really beautiful also btw !
I'm gonna try to pass my motorcycle licence this year and I was convinced that I would definitely buy a hornet, they're reliable, cheap, beautiful and according to my friend a good way to learn / easy to go with... Also the more i see hers the more i like Hornets...
Before he had hers, sports bikes have always scared me, i live in Belgium and the roads are a bit of a mess here, there's quite frequently holes the size of a soccer ball on the motorway for exemple and also, i'm already kind of a lunatic when i'm driving cars so i'm really going to have to control myself if i go for a sports bike so i always tought I would stay calmer and ride smoother with a bike like a VROD or something like that, i would be more like, cruising and keep my shit together... :p
Now i've seen your videos with your wonderful VROD and that's it, i'm in love again with this beauty ! Also, yours is to me, in a perfect config ! I love everything about it !
So here i am, ready to go get my licence and now confused about which bike i should buy first... XD

God bless you man! You took the time out help a friend to get the feel of your own motorcycle...one that if he dropped it would've cost you money to repair for the sake of his learning experience. "Try before you buy" as I like to think of it. I couldn't get that to save my life. You may have just helped another person get into the hobby whereas others would've been intimidated by the mountains of complications and emotions about doing this from "trying before you buy" and not worrying about licensing and buying a bike you decided you were never going to use and many other things simply because they didn't want the hassle. THIS IS the way to get peoples foot into the door! My hat's off too you man! I'll admit at first I thought this video was just going to be like a joke on somebody but I was wrong. Only a true friend would've done what you did. I not only give you a big thumbs up but I am also subscribed. Keep up the great work!

I’ve rode friends motorcycles a good bit and dirt bikes my whole life. I rode a GSXR600 and a R6 recently and a Kawasaki Vulcan literally yesterday and the itch is back since I sold my dirt bike would it be dumb to say screw it ans buy a v rod it was either that or a busa 😅🥴

First time I rode a "motorcycle" little 125cc Chinese dirt bike I fell in love. Felt so free. Then my boss let me drive his 03 harley v rod and that day was the day I knew I had to get a bike sometime in my lifetime. My entire family is against it but one day when I'm stable enough. Whether it be a v rod or something else, I will ride one. It's just such a liberating feeling but those who have never tried will never understand
