    FAQs-
    Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080

Thank you for providing "meatgazer" content. (What we call people who rubberneck at traffic scenes - meatgazers)

I miss these days. I was a volunteer back in the late 70's and worked with an ambulance company, also. We didn't have the equipment like you do today, but, it was a high, to help people.

As someone who directs traffic at emergency scenes I wish the units would have stayed on the incident side of the intersection so you could flow traffic around the U and clear the roads instead of having everyone try to k-turn

Seeing how the rescue is 21 years old, is there any plans or talks about getting a new one?.

Departments only replace their apparatus if they have the funds to do so.

I am disliking this video because you don't need two fire trucks blocking both roads people have places to be and yall are not working in a fast pace you always take your sweat ass time before the road finally opens up please do what is right and treat people in a nice way i should not be like what yall are doing rn

People may have places to be, and they can get there by going around the block following our detors. In addition to our 2 firetrucks, we needed somewhere to park 4 ambulances and 3 medic chase trucks. We are not going to put our people in danger by having an open roadway with idiot drivers speeding around us. In fact a few nights before this accident, Engine 54-3 was struck by a vehicle before we could get the road closed down, and that vehicle being parked there saved several members from being hit while working. And I understand where you may think we take our time, but we do not. Most time taken is waiting for the tow truck to arrive, and as soon as it arrives, we help the tow operator by cleaning the debris up while he loads the vehicles, and then we can all get out of there faster.
