This is just heartbreaking. Stephen A said it best, it ruined the whole weekend. He’s the same age as me, had his whole life ahead of him. May he forever rest in power.

Lived in S. Fla. my whole life. I-595’s a huge highway and not near anything. Never in my life seen anyone trying to cross this highway on foot. Most places you’d can walk under it. A tragedy but the circumstances need to be found out.

When I read the news, I just couldn't believe it. I kind of still don't want to believe Haskins is gone. But I spent the weekend watching his highlights and best games at Ohio State to remember a Buckeye legend, who was nicknamed "Young Simba".
This was messed up I feel bad for his family and their is more to this story.

I hope and pray his family doesn't go after his wife and attack her over his money and belongings. Families need to respect when a person chooses a spouse they choose their successor if something bad happens. His money was his wife's money. She is not obligated to give anyone anything. She lost her husband and that's all everyone should be focused on. Sadly I know how this story ends a year down the road. Family fighting over money.

I have a hard time buying this is an "accident" No one is that stupid, to try and cross a highway, just because, and can't get out of the way of a dump truck, especially a professional athlete. If he was having car trouble, he can call AAA, or call a teammate.There are only 3 reason to be walking in highway traffic. 1. You are on the run from cops. 2. You're on drugs. 3. You're trying to off yourself. There's more to this story. Getting hit by a dump truck on the highway doesn't just happen.
We’ll your right about more information on the story needing to be released at least. The other claims are absolutely insane. There are plenty of people that die in highway traffic and plenty of reasons it happens 1) there was no indication at any point the cops were looking for him. 2) possibly true but more info would need to indicate that. 3) could also be true, we don’t know his mental health, there wasn’t any indication of depression, however we just wouldn’t know. However the fact that those first two were your first thoughts indicates some sort of racial bias towards cops and drugs for the tragic death of this 24 year old. Quite frankly it’s tragic and despicable that your more focused on your racial ideology than the tragic loss of life in this case. 0/10 bad post court jester
It’s pretty heartbreaking about the news of Dwayne Haskins, but the problem is, it’s Adam Schefter, he had like no respect to NFL players and even to Dwayne’s family as well. Tbh, Adam should be either suspended or fired because of this. Like, that was like totally disrespectful and unprofessional of him to tweet the news without any emphasizing about it
