Thank you so much Jodi for bringing up the conversation about pattern paralysis - I have been suffering with the same issue. I have stash yarns I want to use up so looking through patterns but I get overwhelmed with the choices and eventually just shut down. So nice to see it's not just me lol
When I experience that, I grab some old stash and just knit a washcloth or simple beanie/mittens/scarf. Then at least I'm stashing down and making 'emergency' presents or donations.
Jody & Tracy... I was one of those folks who missed out on the Alaska tour. Then you notified us of a Aug 2025 river tour in Amsterdam. I signed up IMMEDIATELY (got the last spot). THEN you sent out notification for a fall 2024 "leaf peeping" cruise. I would LOVE to do that, but was already committed for Amsterdam. Now you are releasing a Oct 2025 Scotland bus tour. OY VEY. I hope you can normalize these trips and release them in calendar order. This Scotland one does sound nice, but I'm already committed for the Amsterdam tour just a few weeks earlier.
As a middle school teacher I loved your little shoutout in the beginning. You may have inspired me to start yarn club to give students a positive outlet!
Hello! I do teach crochet and knitting in a school in Lyon, France! I do have around one hundred students from age 6 to 11! I do love my job at the school!
With the first day of kindergarten this week, I needed this! It might have taken me all day to finish the episode, but my gosh, was it worth it. Happy creating 💚🧶💚
They are usually quilts that are considered “cutter quilts” that are found in flea markets and such…they are either stained or falling apart or just worn through in spots…so they are really being salvaged or upcycled and given new lives as other items.
Hey from Michigan. I’m with you about the rainy days. I do like to sit and knit while watching tv on a rainy day. Cozy vibes! Not every day,,, just a few now and then.
❤I LOVE YOU GALS! Hi I’m from Manitoba Canada. Thankyou for your JOY and Happiness and excitement while inspiring all of us🎉 I LOVE FABRICS and Yarns….knitting moves too slow & detailed for me, whereas crocheting seems quicker for me. Totally LOVE & admire your sweaters! Love your outside fence background with the flower baskets🌸
Jodi, I am totally with you about deciding what to knit. I have SO much yarn and SO many patterns that it gets overwhelming and I can feel like I’m behind. It’s silly because I love knitting. I usually have something on my needles but think my yarn will outlive me 😅and Bob’s your uncle. I need to chill
Enjoyed this show today. I’m not knitting much, but still enjoying seeing new patterns and knits. You girls are great as usual. Wish I could cruise with you, but will enjoy hearing about it. Peg 💛. I think every week would be great, the only issue being I’m not sure you could make them shorter🤣
Like you ladies I have pages in my queue but I jumped on Joji’s hipster top. Now I’m back to my queue knitting Denise Bayron’s Droplet Capelet that I wanted to knit when it first came out in 2019.
Whatever yarn shop you end up in near Boston or the rest of your trip, I would love to come to meet you since you are in my neck of the woods. I would say Gather as it is close - in Boston proper. If you wish to go outside of Boston, Yarns in the Farm in Beverly Farms is wonderful as is South End Yarn in Newburyport. Both about 30 minutes north of Boston. I will be your chauffeur. It would make my year. Missy Sigurdson
Hi there. I was just perusing your website. So nice to see such an enticing update! However, I'm confused. You are charging $30 each for the autumn candles, though one is 8oz and one is 16oz? Is that right? Also, I am interested in your thermal cups and I really like the sister lamb graphic. However, can you offer an 18oz or larger? The two you have in stock, one is 12oz and the other is 15oz. Too small! :D
Tula Pink designs for Free Spirit and all quilt fabric companies have lines of basics to go with the fabrics. It’s another expensive habit! 😂😂😂 and unfortunately I do both!
I've cast on the Raspberry Sweater from Sisu Knitwear. Great color work pattern and such fun. One for Winter (hoping for a few cold days in Virginia to wear it). Highly recommend any of her Berry sweaters.
I love your chat but i am more a Crocheter than a knitter. Although I have a few knitting projects on the go which is going to take me forever as I am prone to losing stitches.. But my point is I choose the pattern then buy the yarn not the other way round. Is that not the way you are supposed to do it?
Jodi, thank you for sharing the tabby fabric. My BFF helps in animal rescue and she is a cat lady. I bought the precut quilt pattern and fabric. Perfect Christmas present. ;-)
Awww, missed your live today, went to the beach with a friend. Home now after a nice cool shower (is there anything better after a sandy salty day at the beach?) So settling down with my knitting to watch your podcast 😊
I did not catch the name of the first or second new pattern Jodi showed. It was the boxy one with Double collar. Enjoy your podcasts. From Lawrenceburg,TN
The byannie bag pattern you got has videos that go with it , that bag pattern I’m doing at my local sewing shop in September going to be super fun and byannie makes great patterns ….
The patterns on your show notes weren't linkable as usual, so that made me sad😢 Hopefully it was just a mistake and someone will fix it soon? Thank you ❤

I’ve been a Tula fan since the first Nightshade. I have a quilt on my bed right now that I made from her book.
Tracy, your vest is GORGEOUS. I'm not usually into colorwork but your colors are amazing.

Joji’s Madewell cardigan has elbow patches. I think some heart shaped elbow patches would be an adorable accent!
OMG take a day in Boston.
Go home the following day.
What nail color are you both wearing? ❤
I did a Scotland yarn tour 6 years ago and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend! What does “Bobs your uncle” mean?
It means - there you have it, that’s it, it’s done’

Couldn’t you do 2 buses?
Nescafe probably tastes better than Starbucks because SB is not drinkable
And sb puts excessive potassium in their coffee. 😮
Sign up for the JOJi KAL and do one of her patterns! Support your friend!
I like Starbucks imstant
Tracy, I would LOVE to see you cast on a sweater from a virtually unknown (or lesser known) designer. Perhaps a designer of color.
