So I hope you enjoyed the last 20 videos as this concludes our preview of Class One from Mastering 3D Modeling in Maya training. In the full course, we continue with modeling the tablet and rendering the complete scene and much more! Full Maya training can be found here: elementza.com/mastering-3d-modeling-in-maya/
I was very curious about the maya modelling workflow, so I watched all the videos to get an idea, but I am bit confused ; is there no way to add bevels, solidify etc as modifiers like in blender ? even the deformers go away when u delete history.
Yes this is correct, Maya's workflow is a little different to Blenders (I've just started learning as well myself). Although you can delete all non-deformer history if you wish to keep those editable.
@@muneebkhaki np man! If you haven't already, I would highly recommend trying out the Maya trial license. It lasts a full month and you can see how you like it. And if you like it and you're going to use it mainly for learning or small commercial projects at the start, then you can get the Indie license, which is way cheaper than the production license, but it still has all of the same features, nothing missing.
@@Elementza that's sad :((( i think it is not such hard model to do complete training :) p.s. your robots - awesome and they should be a part of training, not wacom pen (only)
@@super-six-four Many courses have only trailer or one or two free preview videos. I've added around 20 videos as a free preview. For 20 videos I need roughly one month of daily recording. I believe that is more than enough to decide if Maya or the course is worth the investment if you're serious about improving your skills. Cheers!
