I think in this specific case, the reason was because of Thor The Dark World. Loki was originally going to be killed off in that film permanently as a way to wrap up Loki's "redemption arc". However, Kevin Feige (in charge of Marvel's film division) decided to include a scene last-minute of Loki surviving and taking Odin's place, in order to appease test audiences. Because of the fact that this was done incredibly last-minute, Marvel had no clue where to take Loki's character. So they decided to make him have an arc in Thor Raganrok that would lead to his death in Infinity War, so that they could use the time travel in endgame as a way to re-do the character's development after the first avengers film, since Dark World fucked it up. So this whole thing with Loki literally only exists because Marvel fucked up with Loki's character back in 2013 and had no idea what to do.

No there seem to be a misconception to many movie fans it has been established in the comic thousands of times that are beings that will make the infinity stone look like a joke as their own personal power dwarf that of the infinity stones combined and another thing that some people get wrong is that infinity stones do not work in a universe or pocket dimension they are not originally from for example if a set of infinity stones were assembled in earth 1000(marvel uses earth to denote their various universes and timeline) and by some mysterious way the earth 1000 infinity stone were brought to earth 1001 those stone from earth 1000 are as good as pebble in earth 1001 as the will not function in that universe since they are not from earth 1001

Ragnarok was the real character development for Loki tbh. This show is another redemption arc for him just the path is different this time, it will ultimately again lead to the same point where Loki ended up in the end of Ragnarok.
The zemo in captain America and the winter soldier is a more comic accurate version. People were upset of zemo in civil war because it didn’t have the same rich Barron vibe to him like in the comics.

@@themadtitan7603 Secret Wars could be the ultimate finale to the MCU franchise in the long term, as that story rely's on characters and plot lines we will eventually see, such as the arrival of The Fantastic Four, the X-men, The Eternals and Doctor Doom's omnipotent and God-like evolution due to establishing his motivations and character, because Doom was a major adversary in the story and could potentially be the MCU's next big villain.
I would love to see spidey in his secret wars suit
@@deanwinchester8650 venom shall live here two
Well I feel like say, the mcu doesn't die at in the next 10 years, then I'd say secret wars would be within 4-5 years away knowing the productions of all these shows and movies that they have to produce so I feel as if it wouldn't come super soon I mean we still also have blade, xmen and fantastic 4 on the back burner, all around that would be the timeline especially since it took 10 years of elaborate planning to build up to endgame 4-5 years would be the minimum.
Loki was amazing I loved it
Lol. Fortunately, Loki wasn't the same thing all over again. They got rid of the previous arc in one episode and then focused on predeterminism, fate, destiny etc. Fantastic writing all around
Marvel- We don’t do “death” here
Well at least they’re finally following the source material
WARP ZONE: has anyone noticed that what you’re doing with these skits is basically the marvel formula? You take one great character in Dick Richards and then make a series of “good enough” parodies where you’re doing the same thing over and over again, making money on the poor anti establishment rubes who think themselves above the generic marvel schlock that keeps getting pumped out. You just slap a guy in a costume put them in the same familiar office setting and write out a script that is basically a template for printing TH-cam money. It’s so evil we should turn it into a t shirt in fact you probably already have.

I need this guy to cross over with the Movie Pitch guy.
that's what i said!

Jesus Christ

The "we killed that mfr 3 times, twice in the same movie" reference to vision is the hardest I've laughed at any of your guys' videos. Love it.
First, I gotta say the actor playing Loki is really good. It doesn't feel like Tom Hiddleston, but it still feels like that is Loki.
Secondly, at this point, Davis in a suit strikes fear into everyone's hearts 💀
“A vast shared universe, never before seen in the realm of cinema”
Clamp: am I joke to you?
“Don’t tell me it’s an appearance in that God awful Avengers game…”
Me: “which one specifically?”
Fuck. He's so right and it's so wrong. But despite my brain knowing that I still love Loki so far. I'm the problem 😭
In order to sell something new, it must be familiar

@@ThorMaximus nani?
yup.
That Loki actor was surprisingly spot on
Dick: Baron Zemo had a satisfying arc at the end of the Civil War.

The guy did the PERFECT impression of LOKI !!
Infinity stones used as paperweights. Just when you thought you’ve seen everything

I mean, saying the Loki show doesn’t care about good story, may be premature, there’s only one episode out
True
And that episode was good. It even used an intelligent plot device to skip through his redemption arc in the first episode so we won't have to go through it all over again. Brilliant
The second one is out, and imo the whole thing is really good
The joke about vision dying 3 times killed me
"The British accent only makes you sounds smart" .. lol.. 😅
So, as Thor is being stabbed in the back by Loki, Mr. Richard is stabbing Loki in the back.
I heard of these guys through Spotify. I really like them.
I like the Easter egg in the description. “Brother of Thor, son of Odom”
“Don’t ask questions. Just consume product and be excited for next product”
In new Dr strange , Wanda visions is coming again. This whole video is terrifying accurate . Kill beloved characters, get big emotional moments and get characters back again
"My Machiavellian money maker." 😂😂 I love Loki, and how he's insulted by the Disney stuffy shirt executive. 🐍🐺💚💚

"What Inhumans TV show"
I'M DEAD
That's the only Marvel live action show that's without a doubt, terrible.
now that all this has backfired
I want the next part
Loki is gonna help the TVA to catch herself
Both fantastic ideas especially that second one but I believe the time keepers themselves will all hunt down Loki after he betrays Owen Wilson after gaining his trust AND the second idea.

This is a genius walk through the Marvel phase plan. I love the MCU bte.

I nearly thought that Loki starts with "What is it that you truly desire?", might have watched too much Lucifer there ^^
There are two guys in the room. One guy is evil and is gonna take over the world one day. The other guy goes by the name of Loki.
Do Netflix Part 3!!!
Plz
Basically Hollywood discovered comic books then discovered that no one stays dead in comics.
"if you're not here for the money, you need to get out"

Dick Richards acting like Marvel hasn't been doing the "illusion of change" for 60+ years. 😂

"We tell the writers who kill a character off and then they have to make up a convoluted way to bring them back."
That's basically the comics for both Marvel AND DC
God, Disney is going the Supernatural route: bring back all the beloved characters until there is nothing left to milk out of them. Marvel does the same thing, definitely, but I feel like Supernatural it will end on a bittersweet note.
This dude legit could play a variant of loki
Davis looking slim and trim, boss 🙌🏼
You know, watching has got me thinking how more appropriate it is to hear Loki cursing. Like, it fits so well for his character
Loki may have had more character development in the first episode than in the entire mcu
Facts
That's not even close to being true.
Hahaha... wait... you're serious? Oh god...
Ragnarok was the real character development for Loki tbh. This show is another redemption arc for him just the path is different this time, it will ultimately again lead to the same point where Loki ended up in the end of Ragnarok.
@SCP - 1669 - 45 EXACTLY! Facts!
The zemo in captain America and the winter soldier is a more comic accurate version. People were upset of zemo in civil war because it didn’t have the same rich Barron vibe to him like in the comics.
