Another great vid! I had to turn it up to hear ya talk but still a good one. I just replaced all the fluids in my 450. You did what I did and removed all items out of my way. My oil filter is in the same spot. I also relocated my battery so I can get to it. The skid plates on the Polaris are wielded on so I can’t unbolt them. And, I have ordered some heavier ones from ricochet. I can’t see to little blue in action!

Yes, it is definitely easier to just remove some things to make the job easier. You’ll love the Ricochet skid plates, I’ve had no issues with mine on the Rancher. We have a lot of ride footage to work on editing, so stay tuned for riding videos! Thanks for watching!!!

Hey man! How is it so far? Do you love the CVT transmission? I for sure as heck do with my Grizz.

Yeah, I am loving it! Very smooth and responsive, always in the right gear. It makes it very enjoyable to ride in any terrain. Thanks for watching!!!

Good for you man! But does it even shift gears, say like a Honda? On my Grizz, I’m convinced that it doesn’t really have.. gears. I think it just winds up. Example: Like a chainsaw does when it just winds up without any gears in the way. Just one smooth motion. I may just be overthinking your comment lol.

Yeah, I was using "always in the right gear" as a figure of speech. I was referring to how sometimes the DCT of the Rancher is not in the right gear in certain situations. I agree it is one very smooth motion. lol

Is it easier to change the oil on your Yamaha or the Honda Rancher?

I would have to say the Rancher is definitely easier, mainly because it has the quick release panels that don’t require tools. The Kodiak is not hard to do, just the extra steps of removing the panels and then we also removed the skid plates to make clean up easier. Thanks for watching!

I had a grizz before it’s easier through the side in the wheel well.
