Hi Robert, do you have a lesson for the the "R" in read ? Thanks
It's in THIS VIDEO: 25:54
I am creating a streak and I am going to watch this video 30 days straight and will share the final result here.
Day 1 ➡ Done.
That's amazing! I'm proud of your dedication, and I'm excited to see how it helps.
Hi Robert - loved your vedio, the best I have ever seen! Sometimes I saw /ɔː/ but it's not in the video. Is /ɔː/ same as the /a/ sound? Thanks!
I thought I mentioned it, but the difference between the two is inaudible for the vast majority of native speakers, and a lot of Americans don't even use the //ɔː/ sound. It's based on region. I didn't go over them because I don't consider the distinction a good use of time. If you simply use /a/, you will be understood. Great question!
@@RobertTeachesEnglish Thanks this is super helpful! Have a good day!

I think that the L sound in standard American English is dental, not alveolar.
Please, please remove the background music, it'll make the video perfect
Unfortunately, that's not how TH-cam works. I'll keep it in mind for future videos though. Thanks for the input.
Is this called International Phonetic Alphabet?
It sure is! Though I am only using the phonemes in American English.
Nice video. Useful for me.
Sir please
When you phrased A and mentioned examples there wasn’t letter a
Exactly 36:19
I’m not sure what you’re saying. It looks like I’m going over short o practice at that point.
Almost perfect vid. When You present t͡ʃ as a single sound, there is too much of downward movement of your jaw.
Thank you! Almost perfect is what I aim for.
It seems most harder than anything, but I am ok 🥹 never give up 😭, hope meet someone who want to teach me for better one to speaks
Don't give up! Just focus on one step at a time.
