I’m not from Idaho but I moved to Boise for a year after I got out of service back in 2019. Moved away in early 2020 but we always say we should have stayed. Looking in to flight school now, so this may be enough reason to move back. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
Pretty sure the maximum amount per academic year that the VA will pay for non degree aviation programs is the same for Post 9/11 or Montgomery. Biggest difference, aside from the BAH and book stipend, is that the Montgomery GI Bill is refunded where the Post 9/11 is paid directly to the school. It is fantastic that you have a degree based rotary wing program!!
Hi what is the turnaround time from applying to the VA to pay for fixed wing instrument rating to them approving and sending money to the school? Any idea?
Thank you for letting us be a part of this series! It was so fun meeting you and your team and sharing a little bit about what we do. Happy flying!

What do you get at the end with non degree one?
I am prior military looking to go to flight school. needing some guidance and knowledge on what I can receive.
Have you found anything? I am also searching how I can use my GI bill or Ch 31
@@Ayytambiyou need to get your PPL first out of pocket then you can use GI bill on Part 141 school
@@liljj1427 typically yes but at my school you can use your GI bill for PPL. Part 141 degree program. Kinda like Liberty as well.
@@Ayytambi okay thank you for clarification i did not know
@@liljj1427 yes for sure I also didn’t know either until I got to my school (California aeronautical university) pretty cool.
Too bad you can’t fly helicopters at age 59 and need a college degree to fly.
