- I've played the game for 3 or 4 hours now and there were some things that went somewhat unexplained or were easy to miss. So here are my top tips for you guys when you first play! :D

Just started playing and I’m so impressed with how creative you can be when interacting with the environment.
I wouldn’t of thought you could chop down a tree to make a bridge.
Once I got bombs I started dropping those in ponds and getting tons of fish.
Before I figured out cooking I ran into the colder areas with a torch and was able to survive as long as I held it.
Yeah, I was surprised just how many ways I could achieve something. Like putting a torch under an apple on an apple tree will cook it and pop off. 😮 I'm so used to games having only one way of doing something.
the king tells you to do so
For damaged goods, breaking an item on an enemy is a crit. Throwing any item, whether or not it breaks, is also a crit. So don't feel like you have to throw your weapon when it's weak, breaking it on an enemy deals the same damage and tends to knock them back anyways.

Tip: Use MAGNESIS when close to Lake,River, and Ocean you could find chests 👍

The korok seeds go to this one guy who loses his maracas, he gives you a choice of more inventory space every time you give him a seed
I often use the bomb to save on supplies and they are really good for a lot of situations. Like tapping the bow button to drop it while running away.
But did you know that each bomb type has its own cool down?
So you can switch between each type and constantly throw bombs.

Sooo, eveyone without a review console?
Whether they pick up the game at launch, or a year from now these should continue to be useful little tips/tricks in the first few hours of the game. I'm just trying to give people a better grip on how dense the world is at their capabilities as Link :)

It's from the Old man, go to Mount Hylia, there you will meet him, talk and he will give it to you
I got it from old man at the top of one of the peaks in the snow
You can get there by cooking spicy peppers for heat resistance

I also learned a new trick.. If you come across a (normally powerful) blade, make sure to save at the blade... Then grab the blade.... If you don't get the bonus you want.. Reload... I did this a few times and got a Royal Guard blade with 25+ attack bonus

Hey Martyn! Here's a tip i found from another tipster: Apparently if you take 4 spirit orbs from the shrines to a Goddess Hylia statue you can get a new permeate heart, or a pip to your stamina wheel.

Best to use bombs to cutdown trees it works exactly the same. Don’t waste your axe weapons save them for mining and fighting

As far as I can tell, yes.
I'd recommend looking at Game-informer's play-through commentary. Two of the topics they mentioned was how well the game flowed and the lack of glitches.
Now that it's out, if u don't have a switch yet: it runs perfectly fine though apparently if you play super long non stop the game starts glitching a bit
Also I recommend playing in handheld mode cuz in the dock it gets hot much quicker
Wow...I see now that I'm way too impatient playing this game. I don't take time to explore, I want to play the story, because I want to see what happens, but this way the game is really difficult. I should definitely start exploring more
Can I delete pictures after they where added to the encyclopedia?
Are there any items or pictures I can only get at a cerain time in game ( and after that there is no way to get it )?
And how many pictures can I take or is it unlimited?
You can take unlimited pictures, and you can buy missing compendium entries from Symin in the Hateno tech lab
If you want to catch fish easy just throw a remote bomb in the water near the fish. After explosion they float on top of the water for easy gathering!

I’ve seen someone mentioned that once you gets bomb rune, you can toss it in the water and make it explode. That’ll kill several fish in one go

Use cryonis on somewhere near water and shield jump forward and jump when you land on the ice to bounce off and get good height to defeat enemies.
