  • A NEW 2021 super tall 64m Turntable Ladder truck in training with siren and lights, setting up and demonstrating use of the rescue elevator at Knightsbridge Barracks in London, UK.
The new 2021 Scania P410 carries a 64 metre Magirus Turntable Ladder (TTL) and is one of three acquired by the London Fire Brigade from Emergency One.
This vehicle is one of two funded through a donation of £2.5million from the London Freemasons. Read more: www.inyourarea.co.uk/news/lon...
These three 64m appliances join twelve other Turntable Ladders built by Emergency One carrying 32m Magirus Turntable Ladders. See here: • New London Fire Turnta...
The new 64m Turntable Ladders will increase the London Fire Brigade's capability to respond to high rise incidents such as the deadly Grenfell Fire of 2017. Included is an elevator that can transport personnel and casualties while the ladder is fully extended.
Thank you to the London Fire Brigade, London Freemasons, Emergency One, Magirus, Scania and Babcock for the work they've done towards these new appliances.

220 feet is damn impressive. That has got to be a world record. Now they just need to pair it with an industrial super pumper fire engine to get the right pressure and volume of water from that crazy height. Pierce is envious of Scania/Magirus. The built in elevator skip is a stroke of genius

Scania did nothing. Iveco - Magirus (Magirus is part of the Iveco Group) made the ladder.
Oh and also, this is a 209 ft version, and is not the tallest ladder Magirus makes: they also make a 68 meters version (223 ft)

Very nice toy. Is it me, or does the turntable pivot on its rotating joint at 4:10?

Interesting ladder truck. Will be awesome to see it in use. Hada bit of a stuffy nose there eh?

This is not a turnable ladder. Their called a Carp- Combined Aerial Rescue Pumps. Was first used by West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.

Impressive, but seems like a much lighter truck than what we see here in the US / Canada. Toronto has a US-style ladder that is taller than this but I will say the engine on this truck sounded very smooth.

And is not the tallest ladder Magirus makes: they also make a 68 meters version (223 ft)
