The car has already proven to be a legit performer. It still looks amazing. Not my first choice but i certainly like the car and would love to see more of them on the road.

Nah, lots of them out there for sale now. Check out the Z though, those are priced 5-10 grand under msrp right now. Still hard to pick up at these interest rates.
What I like about you Joe is you see the car the way most of us see them and that’s why I continue to watch your videos. Thank you for your honesty 😎💩👍
I fixed all of your zonks on this car minus the fake vents for about 1500$. Ended up getting a used 2020 for 46k with 24k miles. Simply from a downpipe and tune it's pushing 450-500 hp/ torque. This car is incredible for the price as long as you don't get sucked into these hilariously tacky "special editions" where these manufacturers just throw on some tacky aesthetics and a paint job lol. Not to mention in order to tune the newer model year Supras you have to send your ECU to friggin Finland to be unlocked.
Both the Toyota Supra 45th Anniversary and the Nissan Z Heritage are amazing cars! The Supra has that iconic legacy and a sleek design, while the Z Heritage has a rich history and a unique style. It really comes down to personal preference.
The 400 (it's not a Z) has a V6. I take it you aren't aware that V6s don't belong in sports cars? I've a 73 240Z. That is a Z. The 400 has no Z traits It's an overweight, overpriced cornlog. Nissan knows this, but ignored it. Toyota knew the assignment and kept the I6, even if it is a collab with BMW.
@@VBMichael_D I take it your reading comprehension is non existent, I said the Nissan looks better. I was talking about car design not sports car capabilities, mate...
@@nuelreview5636I have had a 2023 A91 6MT for going on almost 2 years. If you want more power and straight line speed, get the G87 M2. If you want the better manual shifting experience, get the MKV. The m2 smokes the mkv any day of the week but the mkv shines while shifting and on backroads or canyons. I know I’m not as fast as an m2, but any time I get in the mkv, it puts a smile on my face
Not gonna lie, I think that is the best color combo I have seen on the Supra. I can't help but think they saw the cool special edition Z and said "write that down, write that down!".
That orange looks like the Kubota tractor orange paint I used to paint my old Sentra....but I am not complaining. For clarity, I mixed in metallic yellow, metallic gold, and metallic copper powder into the paint, so it looks closer to this than the actual Kubota orange now.
As much as I love GR-Supra's, *I HATE* the steering wheel too Joe, but you can easily go to *Flaming Hawk* and get an exotic modified custom steering wheel made for the Supra so I'm not really worried about that. I'd also take out those seats and replace them with *Recaro seats* (Sportster GT).
It's about 8pm in Japan, just finished dinner (fried rice). Although Nissan Z is a nice car, I would definitely go with the Supra, because the period gap between the end of manufacturing last generation and the release of the latest generation was so long, and I had thought there would be no more new Supra. But fortunately my prediction was wrong. Although I'm sedan guy, Supra is one of my memories in good old days in Japan, the days on the streets like everyday when I had seen many sport coupes like Nissan Z, Mitsubishi GTO, Nissan GTR, Ford Mustang...truly joyful days with dreams. Thanks a lot for letting me remember those days.
I have the white anniversary edition … this car is so fun to drive and it woke the hell up after some bolt on mods… im actually happy they will end the production cuz ot will benefit me in the future 😂
Great car. Had a 2023 3.0 Base with a Manual and JBL for a year and a half. Just traded it for a 2025 M2 also manual. The M2 is in a different league, but the Supra is still a great performer. The price when you go Base Supra 3.0, which BTW has better seats than the Premium, is just under $60k all in with the package that comes with the JBL sound system, while a decently, tastefully equipped M2, without no Buckets is around $70k. So that puts them in separate brackets. The thing that I didn’t really enjoy was having to duck to clear the roof line getting in the car. The wind buffeting is easily fixed with a $50 piece. And what I liked the most of the Supra was the way it fits around the driver like a glove.
I daily my 45th anniversary edition. Very fun, very reliable, and plenty of power with a: exhaust swap, wider wheels, and jb4 tune. Also run a R8 radar and dashcam just in case
I didn't love the styling when it came out - but 5 years later and cars in general are more aggressive (ugly?) - the Supra seems rather tame. And you're exactly right - the evolution of MKIV styling seems much easier to read these days - it looks like a Supra! And these have amazing road presence as well - they just sit on the road different and feel exotic.

Nice looking vehicle. I've been shopping the BMW M2 lately and thought this might be an comparably fun vehicle but they're so close in price and the M2 gives you proper brakes at ALL FOUR WHEELS and a moonroof on top of a better service experience. What am I missing?

Great Vid Joe and nice car but gee they are small. Looks like you need to be 5'2" to be able to fit in there OK. Your head is very close to the roof lining
The seats should have orange contrast stitching instead of white - that's a definite Zonk for me! There should be a few other orange highlights/logos/trim carefully placed around the interior. That was a misstep on Toyota's part. Since this was a special anniversary edition, they should have gone the extra mile to tweak the interior slightly.

A90 Supra. This gen is better buy than a newer upcoming trash, a 2.0L 4Cyl Hybrid. This is BMW Z4 based, which does not have any BS issues of GR Corolla, Lexus IS 500 bumper issues.
