This channel could use more subscribers! Probably why they’re getting a co-sign from Vox?

I will give the Army credit for their work to clean up areas in Washington state near Fort Lewis. C'mon Air Force- those Army officials are doing better than you are. Show a little pride in a clean area!!

I lived on TAFB 1976-1981. We would walk on an old road that we called “ Buckshot Road” because it had those little round pellets ALL OVER it. Was that s**t LEAD???

This is a wonderful article of course! Although, I do not understand why the title did not read, "The United States military is contemptuous of it's ecological damage and the feds let them get away with it."

Failed to mention that I was an Air Force member who worked on the base from 1996 until 2002. During that time period I spent a lot of time with the Environmental Resources office because of my love for the outdoors... Tyndall is a beautiful place!

Ronnie Carter I lived on base walked all over the woods saw some strange things . No bears at that time. Almost never alone. Smoke cigs and talk. Fish etc. camped on beach at cape hart. Tyndall for me was a real eye opener. Redfish point was really creepy.

Ronnie Carter yes it was the mill. I'm talking , this my sound crazy but, I've seen things in the woods . Herd things, smelled things. The fathers of friends would tell us it's just homeless or hogs. I know better. Never felt threatened just creeped out. Never saw bear track , lots of turkey ,hog deer, and large shoeless human looking tracks, me and friend took a tape one time,23 " toe to heal. Smaller one whith it, 10 "?

at time stamp/signature 1:47, the showing of 'lead pellets' a closer look shows that these are the tiny lead fishing weights... keep trying propublica

Michael Moran - The picture you’re referring to isn’t fishing weights. That’s lead shot, most likely from Tyndall’s skeet range. You can find the original pics (NOT from Propublica) on the Florida Dept of Health’s website. They did a pretty detailed study back in 2012. Read pages 22-24 if you’re really in search of fact-based truth instead of cheap shots.
