@@anoseknows This video just appeared in my TH-cam recommendations, so I had to rewatch (I first saw it in 2019). I enjoyed it on so many levels. I could write a page (I won't) about what makes this video so special. Just know that it is special. And I laughed just as hard as I did 2 years ago. I enjoyed Grey Flannel and Aramis Devin "back in the day," haven't owned either in many years, and now want to revisit them. Very interesting and very informative and fun! Omg. Just discovered your channel after watching a bunch of fragrance review videos by various youtubers who have no knowledge of perfume and describe every scent using the same limited descriptive notes like vanilla, citrus, floral and musk. I was excited when I read the title of your video and was wondering if you would include Grey Flannel, a great scent. Byredo's Green (now discontinued) was an overpriced deadringer. I love Loulou, Black and Bal a Versailles. I want to try some of the others you recommended. To your list I would add Aramis (the original), Oro by Cavalli (discontinued but available online I think) and Silk Way by Ted Lapidus. Please do another video!
Bal à Versailles is actually from 1962, but Desprez' inspiration for it was perfumes from earlier in the century. He also included a higher than usual percentage of natural ingredients.
I wanted to recommend a fragrance to you that I think is excellent and cheap. Have you smelled Loverdose by Diesel? They have samples on FragranceX. It's rich dark berries with a hint of licorice. The licorice isn't offensive or strange. But it's so rich and unique. If this scent was done properly as an extract, it could compete with high end niche perfumes. I don't know why this scent hasn't taken off with perfume collectors?
I love this video-lots of great options and you and Dana are really fun together. I am having trouble finding some of these for "cheap" though. Can't find Aramis Saffron or Mauboussin for under $60. I realize that isn't expensive, but I wouldn't consider that cheap. Still other good options mentioned that I look forward to trying!
Newbie watcher here, enjoyed the very informative talk and your other videos, Dana was a breath of fresh air. I agree on most items specifically Lou Lou, rather surprised Volupte didn't make the cut, my two cents. Cheers.

All the Aramis flankers have their charms. The only reason one can call Aramis 900 a cheapie is because it found its way to the discounters. Try Aramis JHL named after Estee Lauder's husband, Joseph H. Lauder. The discounters can't seem to get it and it's only available at stores like Lord & Taylor.
Omg, Loulou was my math teacher perfume when I was a teenager. This is the reason why I could not stand vanilla for more than 20 years 😂 However I still love the Lanvin ones, good cheapies. Arpege is a really good one.

I have a head cold that’s currently preventing me from enjoying the scents. I just sprayed on Montale Intense Cafe and I’m in scent heaven!!! I can enjoy it even through my congestion. Please keep the videos coming. BTW, I love all your guests! 🥰
My best “cheapie” find of recent is definitely Jaipur Pour Homme edp. I just can not stop going back to it. Cinnamon-spicy vanilla baby powder. I cannot recommend it enough, and I honestly think it’s a 10/10, masterpiece. Just severely overlooked, underrated, and under appreciated, probably because it’s so cheap. It’s definitely also incredibly underpriced for what you get.
I Love this lady!! I was at work listening to you guys laughing so hard. I really enjoyed this video, thank you both very much. I'm also planning to pick up a few of these cheapies.
AWESOME ENERGY!!! GREAT CHOICES!!! Curious about: "Stash" - Sarah Jessica Parker. "Loulou" - Cacharel is a beast, it was the signature of a friend (a feminine, small (1m52) and thin girl with a strong personality). Cheap fragrances nowadays used to be expensive years ago: - "Vanderbilt" - Gloria Vanderbilt (1982) - "Maroussia" - Slava Zaïtsev (1992) - "Choc de Cardin" - Pierre Cardin (1981) ...

However I still love the Lanvin ones, good cheapies. Arpege is a really good one.
I agree!!! I had been defending the cap but your look now changed that forever. Classy, sophisticated, perfect haircut. So there we are with that.
Absolutely most oddly personalities; CLOUD ☁️ with THUNDER⚡️, this lady is so damn beautiful crazy like a mix of energy, explosions,, wildness, loudness, laughters... she’s fantastic
Thanks, stick around, more to come :)
LouLou is still good! Wore it alot in the 80's and still smells great.
You’re soooo awesome, Sebastian!!!! I finally place my first order on Fragrance.com and ordered some scents that you recommended. I am beyond thrilled!!! I have a head cold that’s currently preventing me from enjoying the scents. I just sprayed on Montale Intense Cafe and I’m in scent heaven!!! I can enjoy it even through my congestion. Please keep the videos coming. BTW, I love all your guests! 🥰
Това видео е класика в жанра, браво!
Does the sent scent last long?
These two are so good together they need their own show. Good Stuff!
I Love this lady!! I was at work listening to you guys laughing so hard. I really enjoyed this video, thank you both very much. I'm also planning to pick up a few of these cheapies.
What a nice video. I've noticed that her vibe is pretty contagious. The videos where Sebastian smiles the most is when they're together ❤️
She is so beautiful and full of life! I’m in love with the Romanian 😘😘😘😍
Dana es la bomba! Great knowledge and good vibe!
Another excellent and informative video !... 44 minutes that went by so fast. Great job & very entertaining. Thanks to both of you.
I will watch any video with Dana forever and always
Best co-host I've seen...she is amazing!
Thank you!! Much, much appreciated.
I am lovin Lanvin eclat d'arpege pour homme right now.
Cheap fragrances nowadays used to be expensive years ago:
- "Vanderbilt" - Gloria Vanderbilt (1982)
- "Maroussia" - Slava Zaïtsev (1992)
- "Choc de Cardin" - Pierre Cardin (1981)
...
I think Maroussia is making a comback... I know I've covered it... goof stuff :)
