Thank you for the video’s I know it’s a thankless job but it is appreciated. It is very helpful. I’m restoring a 65 coupe now and have an empty shell in my garage just back from paint so I will be watching alot of your video’s.
thank goodness with the convertible I do not have to deal with this. Love the options to keep track of the hidden holes by installing the screws and then locating them later. good trick for any blind screws especially the sun visor mounts
Glad you are showing this install, I was planning to bite the bullet and hire someone to do this, but you may give me the confidence to tackle this myself. Thanks!
Man! These headliner bows are so hard to find cuz they're discontinued. I found 3 out of 4 from my 68 Mustang Coupe and I can't find the 4th, I guess I'll have to fabricate one using a 4mm threaded rod. Thanks for the video!
Great video and instructional tutorial on the process of installing the headliner into Jade! Looks like we would rather put a headliner into a classic Mustang other than the convertible top we will be installing on our 64 1/2! Can't wait for the next part of you installing the headliner! Big Thumbs Up as usual Barry!!
I think this video would help. If I remember, the longest one will go to the rear. The middle ones should be the same length, and the shorter one is up front.
@@JoDaddysGarage, for you to do all that work on the restoration and make that car look gorgeous, I listened to your explanation about the interior rust, and somehow it feels as though it deserves some brush strokes of Phospho. Just my thought.
My wife owns a 1965 Mustang. We are in the leg of finishing it. Thanks for the tip of placing the screws flush for the window visors.
This series is priceless for those wanting to rebuild their Mustang
Indeed
Yes, Barry is the best!

We have an original unrestored 67 Mustang we call "Joy". The headliner has gotten to the point it really need addressed. Thank you for the video!
good overview and solid place to start. Can't wait for install.
Everything is coming together!!! Looking good!!!

Great video getting ready to start this process in the fall thanks
As always another good instructional video. Installation tips would be useful in any vehicle with bow retainer headliner.

Thank you for sharing such great ideas. 👍
That will be a challenge... Its a pain in the...
Since my rods were previously removed and paint markings seem "gone" ... any tips on determining what is what?

45 years is cool! You don't hear of that to often!
Any rust treatment on the interior metal?
I didn't add any.

It wouldn’t hurt. However, the rust acts as a natural barrier. As long as there is not any added water or salt, it is self preservation.
Sometimes less is more, if its not pitted just leave it alone.
