The heavy brass thrust washer should be removed immediately after the propeller and kept with the other parts. It is a vital component of of the prop reinstall process. Don't lose it. Regards.

My tab washer receiver is stuck on. I've hit it with a hammer, tried to pry it. Used heat, wd40 to no avail. Do I need to cut it off?

Good morning ☕️ any update? We have been there, that’s never fun. Please keep us posted, a bit more heat may help.

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders I haven't done anything further yet because I'm waiting on replacement parts, as it sits o can still drive it so I may take it out this weekend. I will post here next week once the parts get in and I remove it. I feel like a most likely will need to cut it off.

Had to drill a hole in the washer receiver and split it open to get the prop off. The washer welded to the prop

Hey Chuck, thanks for watching. Any update? Hopefully it’s just corrosion buildup as opposed to melted aluminum from overheating engine.
      Keep us posted. 😎👍

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders I got the splined brass spacer off but the propeller is frozen on the shaft and won’t slide off. I used a makeshift puller to no avail. I stopped before I hurt myself. Either I need to order a good puller or hire someone
