- After seeing a video about this place from another TH-cam channel, we decided to check this place out for ourselves.
This store features a wide variety of things...Sweets, sandwiches, baking goods, kitchen accessories, and much, much more.
Oh my gosh! I used to live just a few miles down the road from Yoder’s. What a wonderful place. Be sure to get one of their wonderful sandwiches and some baked goods. Just seeing this place gives me special memories of “home”.

Fun video. There is a similar store, Shiloh General Store, in Hamptonville, NC. Nice store in a beautiful, rural setting.
Yes, we are planning to check out the one in Hamptonville. It's not really close to us, but not too far. Just over an hour's drive.

Lol...Yes, I felt like I had to be clear on that. My wife is always going around in stores, finding "cute" things. I knew what was coming.
I live about 15 minutes from Yoders! We have three Mennonite stores like that. Yoders, Mountain View and Troyers and I'm right in the middle of all three. Their sandwiches are my families favorite and all their baked goods are so yummy!

Butterscotch is my absolute favorite Cream Pie, I am sure it would be good in anything. I have made homemade Banana ice cream and that is Amazing too! Peach is also Delicious! Loved you're video!

How were the pizza cheese curds n other things you got?
Yes, it was their video here, that caused us to want to go. When he was eating that pie, I decided I just had to have one...Lol. Except that they were out of the peaches and cream cheese one that I was actually wanting. Since we were going to be in Gatlinburg that weekend anyway, we decided that was a good time to check it out.
The curds were really good, as was the cajun crab dip. The spicy mango gummies, were just okay. When you first put it in your mouth, all you taste was the sweet mango part, which is great. But then the "spicy" kicked in, and they were pretty strong. The strawberry rhubarb pie was good, but I didn't taste a lot of rhubarb. The pickled pork hocks were, well, pickled pork hocks. The sandwiches were really good. Some of the other stuff we got, like the flavoring extracts, we haven't used yet.
I guess if you think about the mini skillet it could be used for a number of things, toasting nuts or maybe bread or cookie for one person so you wouldn't be tempted if you were on a diet. It would never work for me because I never diet, lol.

It seems like I remember some parking on the side down past the kettle corn trailer. I'd have to go back and watch the video to be sure, as I honestly was not looking for that detail. But I think you'd be ok.
Yes the parking lot to the right side of the popcorn trailer is huge enough for RVs motorcoach and they actually made it for truck driver so they can get something to eat and if the truck driver talks to the owner for policy and get permission they can even sleep overnight they did it for the truckers bc they were parking on the road to get something to eat so they added that ability to get off the road and park take there break or even sleep overnight they closed at 5ish pm eastern time so any truckers need to talk to them before they close
We get all of this in Sarasota, Fl. In the Pinecraft section of town. The luxuary buses run back and forth to Pa, Ohio, indy, Tenn. And pick up and drop off where u want along the way!!
Not familiar with Pinecraft. We visit Sarasota every year. Always go out Bahia Vista to Der Dutchman.
Wow guys awesome video as always but if I may be a little critical could you please maybe raise your voice a little bit louder I always have a hard time hearing your voice no doubt you're very soft-spoken man maybe a microphone would help or just raise your volume in your speech thank you so much and keep putting out the fantastic videos

I was glad we went. We don't get up that way very often at all, up Interstate 81. It was worth the detour.
Yoders is great! There is another Amish store in Limestone called Troyers. If ever in that area check it out. It is awesome too.
Just got off the phone with some friends from Jonesboro, and they were just mentioning this store. We will probably be going to it in February.

@@laurindawaddle3695 Thank you so much for letting us know that our channel is a blessing. Yes, our pastor preaches it straight, and really has a way with relating to people. Believe it or not, he will be 70 this year, but still can relate to young people just like he is one of them.

As for his age, he doesn't look it or act like it. And I mean that in a good way. He still runs every morning, and plays basketball several times a week.

We have a very similar store here in West Tennessee. As a matter of fact I'll probably stop there and get a coffee and some double dipped dark chocolate peanuts on my way to Corinth here in just a few.

Well, I am blessed to have both.
I live in Greeneville TN and go Yoder's when I get chance the parking lot to the right of the popcorn trailer, truck drivers are welcome to come in get something to eat and rest and if they talk to the owner of Yoder's n don't cause any problems they can sleep overnight but they have to talk to the owner and get permission for that however they are welcome to come that's why the parking lot is bigger over here and even for RV
My husband and myself would have a wonderful time in this store and Definitely wouldn't stay on out budget or diets while there!!

I'm sure they are, but with the influx of out-of-towners on the weekend, I'm pretty sure there would be more on a Saturday. Plus, that's just the shopping day a lot of people choose.
It would be hard to leave that store without spending a lot of money, I would want to try so many things.
We did spend. Way too much. So many great things.

I have never heard you say anything about the importance of being baptized In your sermons that you have shared with all of your viewers?
I haven't actually done sermons, per se, on TH-cam. I have shared the Gospel.
We do believe that baptism is important, but is not essential for salvation. Baptism in water is not part of the Gospel. Paul made that very clear in 1st Corinthians chapter 1. It is an act of obedience for someone who has believed the Gospel.
And I'm pretty sure that I didn't give any sermon on this particular video. I'm kind of wondering why you chose this one to ask me that.
@NCMemoryMakers I am sorry for questioning you about that on this particular video. I admit I mis-spoke about sermons and I am not trying to trap you with your words. I just have a different viewpoint concerning baptism for salvation, because if it weren't important, why would Jesus have John to baptize him with water?
Again, you're not getting my words correct. I did not say it wasn't important. I said that it's not essential for salvation.

No, you are putting words in my mouth now. I just believe that we are to follow Christ's example to the letter for salvation. We are not to add to nor take away from the Bible according to what we interpret what the Bible says we are to do concerning salvation. Jesus received the Holy Ghost after Jon baptized him, do you agree or disagree?
