Hey! Do you think this creates to option do have a 2-kite quiver to do it all? For example, I am 85-90 kg (depending on how much fondue I eat in winter), I own a foil for the low wind days and would like to twin tip as soon as sensible, up to high wind days.
sorry for slow reply, yes you can have a 2 kite quiver, more kites will always get you out more, but our instructor has a 9 and 12m and thats all, foils in light wind, freestyle in high winds
The penta tx is actually a stronger material than the standard dacron material so should be harder wearing, it looks great but I haven't tested durability, i have no reason to doubt that though which is why I'm ordering them 🤙
It's a great piece of kit and looks even better up close, more then a video can convey and definitely handles very well I highly recommend getting your hands on it if you can 🤙
@@DavidUrsell I have never kite before but it seems super cool to do I am on the beach every day to watch kiters until then I have to wait until I have enough money to buy my own kite and lessons
@@Weekdiertje but a small 1.5m or less kite and practise at the beach every day, don't spend much money on it, but if you're at the beach, learn to fly with no power and put many hours in, you'll learn lots of lessons. Then have proper lessons to move easily and safely to water
For foiling I use the neo. For big air and loops I use the evo. I'd go for which one you do most. Both kites will foil well. I just got my evo sls 9m a few hours ago so I'll be testing it out for foiling soon 🤙
@@DavidUrsell interesting! I noticed that the low end of the evo 2020 was a big plus on the foil already. So I'm thinking about getting an 11m evo sls just for foil and oldschool twintip tricks. Don't have that good of an experience with the bigger size neo's.. They get big and slow. Looking forward to your review about the evo sls!
If you want old school too then evo sls is the way to go dude..I. mean watch my review but you may as well get the evo sls now anyway! 😅 but still watch my videos regardless 😁
Size would define the wind speed, its a stronger construction so great for a noob who might crash occasionally or often 😄 have you got any kites already?
lighter stiffer kite frames got to be the best innovation in kiting for a long time, owned rebels for many years but i'm swopping over to ocean rodeo aluula kites for that reason, good film by the way...
Cheers pal, yeah it makes a difference for sure, I'm really pleased Duotone is focusing on this, the kites just keep feeling better and better, was out on the new dice today, great fun
Great review, AND effortless hydrafoiling again. When you sit on the board to foil is there a sweet spot for it to work for your bum cheeks? I guess much like you feet together pose. To far back or forward are you able to show what the board does either way?
Yeah it's very specific, if you get it wrong you either buck up in the air hard or nose dive, and that's just forwards and backwards, you have to make sure you balance sideways just right too 👍.. just takes a lot of crashing to perfect
Nice vid! The kite looks class 🤘🏻
It's a great piece of kit for sure, grab a demo if you can 🤙
@@DavidUrsell Just ordered 8m and 10m for the demo fleet, can't wait!
@@JakeOski happy days, the 10m is a great all rounder, my most used kite for foiling. Interested to see the 8m for jumps and loops too

David, what do you think about the quality of this kite?. The tube is thinner, what's the durability for that? hits the water are possible? :D

Would it be a good high wind kite for a noob? I just learned this year.

@@DavidUrsell yes I have two, liquid Force NV9 12m and a liquid Force solo 15.5, it was very windy here the other day and my 12-meter was too big
