Good video! Can I suggest including a ground wire to Your setup to prevent static buildup which can attract lightning. Running a direct line to TV is strongest signal but wouldn't want to blow up Your TV or cause a fire from an unexpected lightning strike. Also maybe consider buying a $1 wall plate. Disconnect from TV and run the cable through a hole in plate. Yeah, doesnt sound like a big difference but it feels more "professional" than straight out of wall. They have wooden wall plates to match Your wall. By the way, You have a nice place!
Yes, that does seem to be a good antenna. With the new digital TV signals it tends to be an all or nothing situation. Either the signal is good enough to decode or it isn't. When it can be decoded, you get a sharp clear image. It is better than what you get from cable TV because the cable stuff is compressed.
If you have primarily UHF in your area hhen yeah fine but this antenna doesnt have much on the VHF end! Years ago antennas were tested for channels 100 miles away. Today for some Censored reason they only test around 40 miles which you really dont need a big antenna to get
yes it does, you place the cable coming into the house into the amp, and then connect the tv cable to the other side of the amp. The amp has a plug that you connect to your wall outlet.
