Yea man trying to save someone else a buck or two ! Hope it all works out for you I split my antenna with a regular splitter to two tv’s with no single loss. I might get greedy and try A 3 way splitter and see if I can get it to a 3rd tv without having to buy a signal booster.
well i have had that antenna since 2012 its bi directional antenna . i'm in canton ohio area . i have it up 35 feet on rotor not needed if your channels are not far away in different direction .Clearstream 4 max it get rough 84 channels general range most my tv is 44 miles away main core North to Cleveland Ohio and to the Northeast Youngstown Ohio now let go southeast Steubenville and Cambridge Ohio wide variables thats 60 mile channel there in order to do that i added gain amplifier from channel master i total around 84 channels must remember this antenna has not amplification ( 66 channels without ) myself i prefer non amplified antenna that as opposed to amplified antennas they tend to kill signal if you combine two or more antennas into one signal ( having one antenna amplified and one not do not mix well ) that said its almost 2025 Clearstream still going strong i'm in upgrade mode added a channel master 80 bow tie antenna wanted to hone in my southeast channels maybe pick up further southeast into Pittsburgh and wheeling West Virginia want that extra football game on Sunday from Pa goal accomplished did not get Pitt but did get Wheeling which still a score i got Steelers and Cleveland on Sunday any way with out gain amplifier this antenna would not do much at lower setting would not get over that 50 mile mark on winter day i was lucky i had parts from older antenna saved me from taking it back if i did it again i would started with channel master antenna doubt i will order anything but there stuff still made in America i'm more educated now hence new antenna best to ask old folk that used these antenna many years we do not miss cable tv more reason to go biking etc
I used a cable that was left over from my direct tv satellite. Same cable that I used on the cheaper antenna I am currently using now and works fine . The Clearstream was getting 57 channels and coming in clear . It just didn’t pick up FOX and CBS . So that’s the reason it didn’t work for me . Other antenna got those for me .
Yes I did switch to Air like I said I was able to get a lot of channels and they came in clear. That was not the issue and the clear stream would probably work for a lot of people. But it didn’t pick up all the major networks for me FOX, CBS, ABC , NBC. I was only able to pick up 2 of the 4 major networks. So when I went with the cheaper antenna I was able to pick up all 4 major networks I was looking for. So I figured i would share with people that might be looking for a cheaper option that you might be okay with the cheaper antenna.
Does the cable connection seem weather-resistnt? Does it screw on tightly? I was thinking about putting the successor, the ClearStream 4MAX, replacing my Gray-Hoverman, in my attic (one-story ranch). At some point, I'll put it on my chimney. NOTE: New "NextGen TV" ATSC 3.0 transmissions might be on a different frequency than the old ATSC 1.0 broadcasts for the same network.
I will say both of these antennas have a lot of plastic mixed with metal parts . The metal seems good enough on both of them. The Clearstream had a lot of plastic so curious my self how that would have held up outside. But connections seemed pretty solid on both of them and yes I was able to screw on tightly .
Sorry I bought it off Amazon and there is a screenshot of the info for that antenna on the video at 6 minutes 17 seconds into the video. Sorry I don’t know how to add the link and all that fancy stuff yet .
My cheaper antenna that I am currently using that you see at the end of the video is currently sitting lower than the clearstream was and inside the attic with no issues. I was getting 57 channels with the Clearstream and came in clear . But i couldn’t get FOX and CBS so that’s why it didn’t work for me . The cheaper antenna got everything I was looking for with no issues.
Great info! Thanks for the video.
very informative !
Thank You 🙏🏽
Great timing for me, thank you.

Did you also include at least an RG-6 coaxial cable to pair with the Clearstream model?

"Did You Switch Your Menu-Settings From 'CABLE To AIR' Before You Scanned For Your Channels???..
An Easy Mistake"...

Antenna not high enough you have a higher roof as of your pic you showed.
Where’s the link for the $22 antenna se we can see exactly which one you got?

Does it receive low vhf like channel 2
I would have to check. I am not super familiar with antennas just posted my experience. But I really only watch NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC.
@@CaliCowboyit’s hi-vhf so it’s not supposed to but I’m seeing anecdotal reports that it can in some markets.
I checked it does not look like it gets channel 2
