- Finally, I'm happy to present to you all a new series I've been working on. In the Course Kickstart series I'll be going over basic lines and topics that'll (hopefully) get you ready to start playing right away!
Also before you ask, I'll be doing items, but I'm not doing golden chains and whatnot as I think that'll be better as a separate video ;)
If you're wondering what the "S" stands for, it's short for "stage".

I already like this series! One thing to note, is that I would like to see a section about popular trap/backspam spots, and popular sniping spots as well, like the turn in rbc after the sliding thwomps, the stair turns in coconut mall, ect ect. Other than that, nice video, and I can’t wait to see more
WildTurtleShell I believe an installment did cover popular trapping spots, so if you look through the playlist, you might find it!

I'll bite.
Why do players call throwing back items "backspamming?" Spamming implies you're rapidly mashing the button.
Backspamming: When you throw things back obviously, like on straights and whatnot (at high level basically no one gets hit by backspams)
Trapping: Trapping corners/places hard to see and require prediction.
Blocking: Placing an item somewhere that blocks a path, however unlike backspams and traps, blocks aren't meant to connect with the player behind you. Normally blocking shortcuts.
I will admit a lot of players use all three terms somewhat interchangeably, something like how people say cable, cord, and wires. But they all do have slight differences.
This is the best series I’ve ever seen for this game! You should do this for every track!

Is there a way to still play online?
Yes actullay you have to get your Wii sd card, put it in a computer, search in ctgp revolution.com and click on the first website.When your there it will say this wizard will guide you through these questions or something.Then just watch twd98s video on how to get ctgp.And when you get CTGP, wiimifi comes with it and it's a custom server to play online.You have to wait a week before you can though because people might hack your account.If you try it before a week, then it will say it can't connect.And keep up with the updates because if your not on schedule with ctgp then online doesn't work and you have to update it, but for online and 216 custom tracks, it's fairly simple

He couldn't do a tutorial for every character and considering the average person implementing these strats is a massive sweat they're probably using funky kong anyway

Considering that it requires frame perfect mashing, I'd say no. But it's possible some crazy person might figure out a way to do it ;)
Nice Video. Do you know why my km/h doesnt show when i play time trail Nintendo tracks but for custom tracks it shows the km/h
The speedometer is disabled when playing rts because that's how stock mkwii is. The TT scene is very picky about everyone playing on the same field I guess...
